Our visit was plain terrible on 10/22/2025. We entered around 5:45PM Saturday night, parking lot was full as was the restaurant. Seated with friends, note my entry time, finally got out meals at 7:30, no exaggerating. Watched other guest come, seated in booths, and get served while we waited. There was only one server for the whole restaurant, in unbelievable for a Saturday night. I won't speak for my wife's entree, but she had stomach issues yesterday. My appetizer of clam chowder must of come right out of the can, soupy milk with small pieces of potatoes and I think clams because it sure did not taste good. My entree of maple beacon scallops was small hockey pucks. Several scallops were the size of a dime, the remaing pieces were smaller than a quarter, all 10 pieces were well done, hockey pucks, hard to chew, over cooked. There was no beacon flavor period. The vegetables must of come right out of a grocery store frozen veggies, bland, over cooked, lacked any color, took two bites and left the rest for the dumpster. The only good part of my entree was the baked potato, it tasted the best. Now I am a retired military individual, I've had the good and the not so good, but this meal was beyond not good, and for $24.00 I was for sure not a happy camper. I don't fault the only server working and she did get a 20% cratutity, but I do fault the management. This was a bad experience and would not go back even for a 2nd try. Let the buyer beware, one further comment, I observed one couple near our table walk out after waiting the guy said over an out for his beverage he said loudly. I also heard a nearby table complain loudly that it was 7 o'clock and they got there around 5, where was there food.

The food at Ladds is always good, but whenever we get takeout and we’re told a certain time to pick it up, it’s always 30-45 minutes later than that time. Unfortunately this makes us not want to eat from here and would rather give other restaurants our business.

My husband and i showed up for dinner at the height of the evening. The GM said, for a table would be a significant wait time. In his nextbreath he said he could put a table together for us, if that was okay. Extreme customer serv ice!! Second of many visits, to come. Food was so good 1st time, now this!! The GM actually waited our table, as well, being an extra table.
