The food at Ladds is always good, but whenever we get takeout and we’re told a certain time to pick it up, it’s always 30-45 minutes later than that time. Unfortunately this makes us not want to eat from here and would rather give other restaurants our business.

far above any other dining establishments in the area! don't let how affordable the menu is deter you. Ladds is a classic New England Restaurant with all the bases covered. Try their amazing lobster bisque!

My husband and i showed up for dinner at the height of the evening. The GM said, for a table would be a significant wait time. In his nextbreath he said he could put a table together for us, if that was okay. Extreme customer serv ice!! Second of many visits, to come. Food was so good 1st time, now this!! The GM actually waited our table, as well, being an extra table.

Ladd’s Restaurant is so much more than just a place to grab a bite to eat it’s a place where memories are made, where the food tastes like home, and where every seat holds a story.
You can feel the love and history the moment you walk through the doors. This isn’t just a restaurant... it’s a space built by family, fueled by friendship, and grounded in tradition. The cook behind the scenes isn’t just preparing meals; he’s continuing the legacy of a family owned business.
And the staff? You can tell they treat each other like family and they treat every guest the same way.
The food? Absolutely delicious...but beyond that, every bite feels like it has a story behind it. You can sit down for dinner with your mom, share dessert with friends, or grab a drink at the bar with your crew, and no matter what, you leave with more than just a full stomach, you leave with memories.
Ladd’s was built on hard work, love, great food, and an atmosphere you can’t replicate anywhere else. There’s simply no other American cuisine restaurant that makes you feel the way you do when you’re here.
It’s one of those rare places where you’ll never forget the experience from the first bite to the last laugh as you walk out the door.
Highly recommend once you go, you’ll understand exactly what I mean and why so many regulars like my self will always come back to Ladds.

First time at this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. I had the king cut prime rib. Best prime rib I've had for a long time! Au jue and spice was good. Our server Aaron was awesome! The prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be back.

Speaking for the bar area, a neighborhood favorite, attentive, even entertaining service. Good pub fare with reasonable specials.
My mom worked here.. I am so glad they are still around.
Took my kids and girlfriend here for dinner. We sat in the dining room, which was a little dated. Lots of older people in their 60s or higher that night. My kids joked that we were at the old folks' home. Lol, anyway, the service was good. The waitress was attentive and had all 6 of our orders correct. The French onion soup was wicked salty, which for me, is saying a lot because I love salty food. Couldn't eat it. My daughter got the French onion soup as well and could not eat it either. Too salty. One of my sons had the teriyaki steak and it was really covered in a thick brown sauce. He said the flavor was good but scraped off a lot of the gravy. One of my other sons had the orange duck and liked it. Lots of cinnamon in the flavor which was a little strange, but again, he liked it. I had the chicken and broccoli Alfredo. Geat size portion and cooked very well, but the sauce had no salt in it. I had to salt my food twice. Hit and miss overall.
There was another side of the place that looked newer and more up beat.
Great food Great staff
