Another stop from our travels, we took another route from Sturbridge area and we had past this months ago. This time we knew we were headed there, so we wanted to give it a go. Food was good, beverages were good, it was not super busy. The last time we passed this place the lot was pretty busy. We both had the baked stuff haddock with lobster sauce. I had a Wormtown beer and my wife had White Russian style drink.

We were not happy with our meal have been here several times. I received my salad and the cucumber was so gross. I don't know why when cucumbers are in right know I asked for the almondine broiled haddock, instead I got pieces of baked haddock it wasn't a filet. I should have realized when the waitress asked if I wanted lobster sauce. I liked baked haddock however it was really dry like it was overcooked. Hire a new cook there was no love in that meal.

I really do hate writing bad reviews. So it pains me to write this, especially about a local restaurant.But even more so because i believe I know the owners from way back in the day, but I can't be sure if he still owns it or not. But I was very disappointed. I took my son here on April 28th because he was home for the month from serving in the Marines in Okinawa so I took him to see the big cross in Barre. So I wanted to take him out to a nice place to eat. I got myself some stesk dinner.. And I was very disappointed with my food in general. The cut of meat were just poor, and the marinade or sauce that was allover it I did not care for either. Even the dinner rolls that came out in a basket were rock hard. Was just a disappointing experience all around as I've been wanting to bring my wife here for quite some time.. But now I guess I will looked elsewhere.

Ordered takeout on Mother's Day and brought it home to Mom she absolutely loved it we will definitely be back!
My wife and I took our daughter and our 2 year old granddaughter here on 4-19-24. It took well over an hour and a half to get our food and when it finally arrived, most of it was cold. The waitress was horrible with a lousy attitude.The steak was good but on the cold side of warm. The mashed potatoes were cold and crusted over like it was yesterday's batch. The fries weren't fully cooked. Cheese on the cheeseburger wasn't melted. So I tipped accordingly. As we were getting into our vehicle, the host came out and asked what was wrong. So I explained briefly. He was cordial and professional. I give him accolades for doing such. It's actually sad and disappointing. I'm not sure what happened to this place. I think they cater to the bar scene and forget about the dining area and that it is a "family restaurant", not a "pub". Definitely not like it was years back. Unfortunately, I won't be back....

we only have had Take out pizza ,wings and salads from Ladds but let me tell you what some of the best Food around ! The buffalo chix & blue chz pizza best around! 5 stars*****!!!!!
