The staff are always warm and welcoming. I love bringing my son there for breakfast. Plus the food, muffins, and coffee are always fresh and delicious.

My daughter and i stopped in this morning for breakfast. We both got sandwiches and home fries. Everything was so good. We tried a coffee flight as well. We couldn't leave without taking home a couple muffins and a chocolate peanut butter oatmeal square. We will definitely be back. The staff was super friendly as well!

My husband and I went there yesterday for breakfast. We had the two egg and meat breakfasts, one with bacon, one with ham, iced Twix coffee, and a hot butterscotch latte. Omgoodness! Everything was absolutely delicious! So much so, we got a blueberry muffin, a spinach and dill bagel, AND a jalapeño cheddar bagel to go! HIGHLY recommend! Great cozy little spot. We'll be back for sure! 🐮☕️🥯🍳🥓

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I believe the owner and workers were working so hard every which way. They all had just so much compassion every step they take with greeting you to getting your order and asking any questions! I loved to see all the unique decor around the beautiful shop! Every drink and bite was great. We’re so happy to have beverages to go home with! Can’t wait to do my next 45 minute drive, it’s beyond worth it in every way!!

Kid-friendliness: Great small things to have your kids do while you enjoy your coffee and they enjoy their coco or whatever. Ontop of every single employee is so genuine and nice.
Wheelchair accessibility: I had a hip replacement 3 months ago and I wouldn’t have even thought of it unless I had the place card. They make it so accessible in ever way

We went to this little cafe looking for a new breakfast place in September 2024 and we were met with a wonderful atmosphere, delicious food, and an adorable doggo sunning herself outside while we ate. If you are looking for a local breakfast spot, we highly recommend! Sit outside in the sunshine and watch the waterfall as you eat. The coffees are delicious and the food is excellent! Our food was well seasoned and full of flavor, especially the potatoes. Make sure to give the dog a pat on the way out for being such a precious girl!
My husband and I stumbled upon The Spotted Cow Cafe on our way to western mass. We live on the general area but wasn’t aware they opened but we are so thankful they did! We love the coffee options and the breakfast sandwiches but most of all everyone who works there is so friendly and attentive. The energy of the cafe is warm and welcoming and the baked goods are delicious. I highly recommend The Spotted Cow!

My fiance and I were heading to Swift River Reservation and due to a temporary road closure, we actually were a bit lost and our downloaded maps weren't loading. We navigated to the Spotted Cow Cafe as a sort of north star to stop and orient ourselves.
Wonderful cafe with delicious and huge variety of coffee, lemonades, hot cocoa, and teas! Fantastic, kind staff and really enjoyable menu. The in house wifi was a definite plus for anyone else trying to figure out their directions in the area on the reservation as well.
I had the s'mores hot cocoa and my fiance had the maple french toast coffee with a maple french toast pastry. We both loved them. Highly recommend making this stop in the area for a coffee break and sweey treat.

What a delightful spot! Adorable and clean. Wonderful, friendly, and efficient staff. The maple french toast coffee was fantastic- not to sweet, with just the right amount of maple. Food was hot, delicious, and arrived very quickly! Whether you live in Barre, or are just passing through, stopping at The Spotted Cow is a must!
