We had a nice dining experience recently — the service was friendly and attentive, and the meals were very good overall. Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed to find out that Caesar salad wasn't available due to them running out of dressing. We also ordered coffee, but it turned out to be old, and they let us know they wouldn't be brewing a fresh pot. Despite these hiccups, the food we did have was delicious, and the service was decent throughout. Hopefully next time they'll be a bit more prepared — we'd still consider going back.
As always everything was amazing! Service was the best! Food was incredible! Can't wait to come back!
Food was very good but it just took too long between courses, we were there for over two hours and felt like forever.
Great food and manager Nick was outstanding!
Excellent food for exceptional value. Portions are enormous, you'll definitely take some home. Service was friendly and efficient, but not rushed. Had the calamari appetizer which came out hot and fresh. I had veal saltimbocca, melt in your mouth tender, in a very tasty sauce. Husband had the biggest cut of prime rib we've ever seen, at least three inches thick, beautifully marbled, cooked perfectly and extraordinarily flavorful. The bill, with drinks, was about $150. Highly recommend this place. Pizzas and salads looked out of this world, too. That will be our next visit.
The burrata appetizer was excellent. As was the baked haddock with risotto and the eggplant. We highly recommend Capri.
Overall, perfect for what it was.. a seaside spot where the locals have the lockdown. The food was better than average, but not amazing. That being said... Definitely worth the money!!! A good time, and you could not beat the location, for our concert.
This restaurant was great! Large selection of dinner choices. Approximately 15 different pie & cake selections for dessert. The Tiramusa was great. Great drinks and great service as well. Ashley, our server, was right on and made the experience enjoyable. I recommend this place & we will go back there the next time we're in the area.
We had a takeout order. Very friendly, and excellent Margarita pizza. Kollin
Service was absolutely horrible. Server did not know the menu what so ever, called my bearded husband a woman and 2 prime ribs serves were ice cold as if they had just come out of the refrigerator. I have eaten here before and the food was decent, service was not good then either and thought we would give it another try with some friends but this will be the absolute last time we dine here. The pricing is a bit steep to begin with so I would expect good food and service at a minimum. Sad to write this review as we really tried to enjoy it but it literally was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in years. Save your money and go to Seaglass for the same price range or grab beach pizza. You'll thank me

I had the Chicken Parmigiana. It was very tasty and a good sized portion. The available Pasta choices could use an upgrade as what seemed to be boxed Penne was one of the three options. Mrs. StoneOld had the Prime Rib. The meat itself was very good and a fairly priced. The Au Jus was cold and a replacement cup of it was also cold. Ambiance was just alright as we were seated in an empty back room despite having Reservations and the Restaurant being mostly empty. Mrs. StoneOLD noticed an odor similar to mothballs throughout the Dining Room. Service was excellent.
We have eaten at Capri several times in the past couple of years and always enjoyed the food, the service and the environment. So I thought it would be a good place for a Father's Day dinner. We got had a reservation for 4 PM exactly when they opened since it was a Sunday afternoon and my son wanted to get home early. Appetizers were fried Calamari and Ceasar Salad; both delicious. We got bread also great baked with olives and served with sun dried tomato dip. My son ordered Bolognese; he really loved it but couldn't finish it the portion was pretty big. I ordered Chicken Francese which is usually my favorite dish. I was disappointed that it was made with a cream sauce (as stated on the menu); not the way I usually get it with the light lemon, wine and butter sauce. Too heavy especially served with the parmesan risotto; couldn't finish did not want to take it home. My husband ordered the penne with the giant meatball and a sausage. The meatball was COLD when he got it and had to send it back. It came back to the table probably heated in a microwave; disappointing. Was not crazy about the sausage. Skipped dessert although they did look yummy in the showcase on the way out. Will probably try the restaurant again as every restaurant has an off night. Just wish Father's Day wasn't the night it was off.
We visit this area about once a year and always visit Capri for dinner. We have consistently enjoyed the seating, service, food & wine. I made my reservation about 2 months in advance so I was disappointed to be seated in an area pretty far removed from the nicer part of the dining room. We had a huge window next to us which allowed us to view patrons smoking out back. If they are going to use that area for dinner reservations, they really should update it. We had a very young and new server and although she was learning, she was very pleasant and good. The food was fine but not as good as I have had in the past. My husband had the mussels which he really enjoyed and I had lobster ravioli which was pretty good but too soupy and the pasta was a bit mushy. The caprese would have been much better with ripened tomatoes. Again, we love this restaurant and it's something we looked forward to for months; it just fell flat upon arrival.
Dinner was great, with enough of a portion size to take home! Server is always pleasant when we go!
Our server was very a tentative. We pick this location because we were attending a show at the blue ocean which is across the street and you get to park for free when you dine and see a show.
