Just walked out. We went in for fried clams. No sign at entrance stating that they are out of clams. Waitress never let's you know what they are out of and let's us order drinks. Waits until we order to say what they don't have. We had to pay the $4 for a soda and left. Stopped us at the door saying we are not allowed to take the water and soda outside. No apologies. At least should have comped the soda. No class and just greedy

Had our first visit to Surfside, and it was fantastic. You cannot get closer to the Atlantic Ocean unless you are standing in it, the deck is spacious and the atmosphere relaxing and laid back. The food was great, and our server was very conscientious. The kitchen got a little backed up and food was a bit slow to come out, but with the beautiful weather and scenery, we didn't really mind.

I do not like to be the one to leave negative reviews, so i’ll start with saying the food at SurfSide is really good and flavorful, the service on the other hand is not the best, we told our server whose name was Ella, it was 8 dollar burgers and she went to change it but we still were overcharged for the toppings that already came on the burger and sides of fries that also already came with it as well. Already being somewhat frustrated with the situation, the server put an automatic 22% tip, which is not appropriate at all. You can’t provide yourself with the tip you feel you want. When looking for a manager to talk to I’m told there isn’t one present. I later on called and no one responded. I have also worked in the industry, and I understand the circumstances, but also know what is acceptable and not. Service like that can just leave a sour taste in your mouth for future visits.

The only saving grace for this place is the scenery. Quality of Food and service absolutely horrendous, even forgot to put in one of our dinner orders after sitting there for close to 2hrs. Would avoid this place like the plague!

Stopped in for dinner on a Sunday night around 5 PM. Only waited about 15 minutes for a table right on the water, beautiful views. The food was a bit of a wait, but it was busy, the service was good and the food was delicious. The lobster roll was a good portion with delicious fresh lobster. Would visit again and recommend!

Was there on a beautiful 80degree subday at 5pm. There was a performer there that played great music but was so super loud! So we decided to order take out. Bartender was not very friendly warned us it would take awhile possibly 30 mins. We finally asked about our take out after 45 mins and she said I told you it’ll take awhile but I asked if she can please check how much long. Turns how they have been ready. It was no longer hot but still warm. It was good. Lobster roll was super pricey.. over $40

Waited 1 hour and 30 mins for our food. We came in at 2ish so not necessarily a busy time or so I thought. Some of our food was not even hot. I think maybe hire more staff if you’re that busy and overwhelmed. Disappointed to say the least.

I so badly want to like this place. I live in the area, I love the beach and this is place has the most stunning view of the ocean of any restaurant in the area. Last night our order was taken quickly. Our appetizer and entree came quickly and the food was good. Our server hadn't given us silverware/napkin roll-up and forgot to pick up our drinks at the bar. But the worst part is the music. Every time I go, it's bad and played too loud. One night it was country. It's not a country bar. Last night it was '80's hard rock hair bands: Scorpions, AC/DC, Quiet Riot (Bang Your Head? Really?) PLEASE...work on your playlist and play music appropriate for families at a beautiful beach setting.

Amazing beach side experience with a stage and VIP cabanas. Food was outstanding and the mock-tail selection was impressive and delicious. Really enjoyed our time here, we caught the sound check session by the band adding a bonus level to our dining experience. Plus the staff was extremely attentive and plentiful including a security detail. You get what you pay for here, thank you for the outstanding establishment and experience.
