If you've read anything about beach pizza, a hyper regional style established in the Hampton Beach area, you will probably go into your first bite with a bit of trepidation. The pies are square, which raises few eyebrows, and the crust is appealingly thin, almost cracker-like. Aesthetically - at least before they are prepped for a reheat in the oven - slices don't look that different from a typical Rhode Island pizza strip, though it has a bit more pale white cheese...
10/10 crust. 2/10 sauce. Tasted like somebody dropped the entire container of sugar into it, sweetness lingered in my mouth for 30 minutes. Maybe some like pizza sauce to taste like dessert but that isn’t me. Again, fantastic crust though. Full points there. Great price at roughly $3.50/slice with extra cheese and tax (forget exact amount).
This is a regional pizza unlike the new york style. It's thin crust, almost like a flatbread and has sweet sauce and a sprinkling of cheese. I love this pizza, it makes for a good snack. If you're someone who likes sweet, this is the pizza for you. I recommend getting the one with extra cheese and pepperoni.
