Uncle Eddie's Oceanside Tavern

Typical dive bar. Fun time. Only thing I recommend the bathroom smells like absolute death. I wish they at least put a deodorizer in there.

I’m going to be generous and give this place three stars and here’s why. Please bear with me.

For one, I have never visited Uncle Eddie Oceanside Tavern. I used to work with a fine gentleman at my previous duty station who is a regular at this bar and he talks about this place like it is the greatest place on earth. He talks about it like CNN & MSNBC ride Donald Trump nuts. I have asked him several times to tell me what it is about this bar that is so great. While all of his reasons were below convincing, he deserves an Oscar nominated performance for the ways that he portrayed this bar in his own words. Alter seeing a few pictures and glancing at the ceiling of this establishment which look like it’s in shambles, I have every reason to believe that if and when I visit this place, the molded roof tiles and the dust that covers the fans will fall on my head as well as every other consumer in that place, will collapse to the ground, burying us all under the so called Sistine Chapel of bars known as Uncle Eddie’s Oceanside Tavern. Another reason why I have never visited is because I have no desire to drive over an hour to Hampton Beach just to visit a bar and drink when I can do this in the comfort of my own home while putting my feet up watching two of my favorite sports documentaries—Super Bowl XLII & XLVI, when Eli Manning and the NY Football Giants defeated the dynasty that many critics including die-hard football fans had said cannot be beaten, known as The New England Patriots. If someone can provide me with a solid reason as why I should go to this bar that I have not heard already, please provide me with your best input in a reply. I already live over an hour away and wish to make a trip well worth my time.

The Gentleman who told me this Is a regular at Uncle Eddie’s Oceanside Tavern. If anybody has seen or heard of a man who wears a DumpsterCock white t-shirt, this is exactly who I’m talking about. He is a great guy, but spends an awful amount of time obsessed with going to strip clubs in his spare time. I believe he enjoys their lunch buffets. Thank you.

If you love a dive bar, Uncle Eddie's is the place for you. When I need a day at the beach, I usually choose Salisbury Beach because I know I'll get to hang at Uncle Eddie's.
You'll love your life if there's karaoke.

Parking: Can be a hassle for parking. Because it's right next to the Salisbury beach strip parking is first come first serve

The band was ok, but the place should be condemned. Sorry for the rant, but here goes.Uncle Eddie's - Smells, ceiling tiles with stains on them. Some tiles pushed up, others falling down. Tables by dance floor are sitting on two levels, they're plastic. Rug is filthy, sides of the bar are filthy. Rug is torn and frayed. Mold on the bottom of the bar wall. Have margarita glasses hanging from the ceiling, but only serve drinks in plastic.I just can't get past the smell.They serve no food, so I bought a snack from the vending machine, it was past it's expiration date.I can't get past this smell, did not order a drink for fear of contamination.Let a dog in the bar, that jumped up on the pool table. They have one upright fan that is caked solid in dust., not even the mirrors have been cleaned.That said, I know they have been having trouble for the last three years and there are plans in the works for a possible teardown and rebuild. It couldn't happen soon enough.If you are going to buy a drink here, make sure it comes from a can or bottle.
