My fiancé and some friends had a ladies dinner there tonight and asked me to post review. The service was exquisite and attentive. Faddy was very good. The food was like artwork and every thing was amazing. We are planning a group dinner next. Thank You

This review is for the dining room. Apparently, each server has been told to take a full order immediately after you have a welcoming drink. The problem is that most people like to decide what they will have for dinner after you finish a salad or appetizer. I always do not know what I want for dinner until the first course is finished. This is not the policy at the Belfry Inn. The servers want to know IMMEDIATELY or else you will be punished! We told the waiter we needed to wait to order our main course. We finished the first course tonight at 6:45 with a 6:00 dinner reservation. The main course was served at 8:45 with the excuse from the waiter that since we didn't put our order in originally we had to wait until all the other orders were complete. Apparently, they have a chef that cannot compute how to handle food orders out of sequence. My wife and I cannot eat food at 8:45 from a 6:00 reservation. We got the food to go. It was a ruined evening because two friends joined us for dinner who we had not seen in a year. I must have complained loudly enough because our meals were comped. That is not the point. I do not need to receive a free meal at 8:45. I am not that poor. I needed to have a nice dinner out with friends which was ruined by an absurd cooking procedure. I would strongly recommend that the Belfry take a hard look at how guests are treated, and dinner is properly served. There is NO reason for an established restaurant to have this type of process for delivering food in a timely manner. Please get your kitchen staff to do a better job. Also, quite frankly, the meals that were served to my two friends was not of good quality! Thank you, Ken Kwajewski

We enjoyed the Belfry Bistro very much! Street parking was easy, the atmosphere is very unique and great for conversation. Service was fantastic, food was well prepared and served such that we did not feel rushed. A great experience, definitely worth the drive as we lived about 45 minutes away. Looking forward to our next visit!

So this review is for the restaurant and amazing staff. Lobster and Shrimp Fra diavlo was the best meal I have had in 2025 on the cape. Why is this place such a local hidden gem? We don’t want you to know, jk come and try the corn ravioli and cocktails. I’m local but I’m a person that appreciates great food. Place is amazing.

The restaurant at the Belfry is incredible. My lady had Rare Ahi Tuna with caramelized onion to die for. I had the Faroe Island Salmon with delicate tiny lentils and asparagus that was just delectable. I totally recommend this restaurant. 👌

My husband and I spent three nights in the Monday room at The Abbey. Cozy, comfortable, quiet and uniquely quaint. Excellent daily service, including fresh towels each day and exceptionally clean. Lovely front desk staff; welcoming and accommodating. We had dinner at the Bistro our first night. Outstanding food and service. Our goal is to stay in each of the “day” rooms! Great location and tons of parking. Cannot wait to go again!

It was nice to be a tourist in my hometown. I came back to close on my property in Sandwich and stayed at the Inn. While I have eaten at the Belfry, Next door Burger Bar and the Seal in the past I never had the opportunity to be an overnight guest. What a perfect way to bid farewell. Chris was an excellent host and his food delicious as always.

this place is awesome! So much charm and wonderful nature around it. I stayed here on the night of my wedding and they gave us an upgrade to a beautiful giant room. The man who runs this is awesome and so welcoming!!!!!!!
The rooms are always clean and comfy. Lunch and dinners are an instant classic memory.

Amazing dinner. I am shocked this is my first time in. There aren't a lot of nice fine dining on the off-season on Cape Cod. I googled and saw the menu, and I was sold. Our server Farthi (excuse my spelling) was amazing as well. I will definitely be back and highly recommend

My family had an extremely unpleasant experience this past Christmas eve dinner. We were seated in a table that seemed like the backroom or storage room converted into a dining area just to accommodate diners. Another family also complained to the server about this. We thought, like the previous year, that we would be able to admire the beauty of the stained-glass windows of this old church and its over-all ambiance BUT to our dismay we were buried, shoved in a closet. Have we been informed that we were going to be hidden in a closet, we would've cancelled this $400 dinner. It was absurd. They should've NEVER done this to patrons. It was appalling, on Christmas eve, no less. The Christmas tree in the main dining room was beautiful but in the storage room across our table was this sorry excuse of a Christmas tree with about 3 ornaments with one strand of garland hanging off of a branch to the ground curled up to a crumpled tablecloth under the tree. The chair my husband had was this awful forsaken torn furniture. And to call it Fine Dining was insulting! It was inconceivable!
We would not recommend this restaurant nor come back here anymore.

We had a New Year's Eve dinner that unfortunately was disappointing.
We visited two years ago with a fantastic experience. The first two courses were lukewarm, and the filet was also lukewarm with a very tough piece of meat. For the price, it was not acceptable. The service and atmosphere were wonderful.
