You don’t come here for the wifi as it’s the only thing that didn’t work. You come here for the quirky yet luxurious facilities. A beautiful set of three buildings focused around a renovated church. The staff are lovely and always attentive. The rooms are spotless and roomy. The food however is excellent. The restaurant staff couldn’t be more helpful and the quality and portions were ample. Seek this place out, don’t pass it by and my wife and I can’t wait to get back.

Our stay was made so perfect by Kristen W at the front desk! She was our first introduction to the Belfry and we would run into her from time to time and would be met with kindness and a smile! She is a pro and really carries the establishment gracefully! We are grateful for you Kristen! Mario and Angie!

We just finished our 4 night stay in the Seth Room and it was wonderful. the room was very clean and very comfortable. the continental breakfast every morning was a nice touch. when we come back to Cape Cod this will be where I stay.

Beautiful place: a small group of us ate outdoors on a lovely evening. Some of the food was spectacular: the pasta w. the shortribs was thoroughly delicious and satisfying; the more expensive lamb, in contrast, failed on every level--lacking flavor, poor in presentation, and making us rather sad. The burrata starter was fine but undistinguished; the oysters were terrific; the Caesar salad was nicely done. Our server was new to the profession and took some time to get things right but did finally make sure everything was done correctly. It IS an expensive restaurant and we knew that, but there should be a correlation to the preparation in terms of the fineness of all the dishes and the service.

Celebrated a special occasion. My wife very much enjoyed her scallops dish. I had a filet, it was not bad - the flavors were somewhat muted. We ordered a bottle of wine that was very disappointing - it passed the taste test, but later we realized it was well past it's prime. Service was friendly and professional, but they were terribly under staffed. The 4/5 is because of the scallops. Left to me alone, 3/5.

Absolutely amazing and eclectic menu. Charcuterie was fabulously varied and every bite was delicious. Shrimp cocktail was truly a meal in itself- huge shrimp with a firm bite. Served on shaved ice, as it should be, icy cold with a delicious cocktail sauce. The baby spinach and apple salad was a treat, just impeccable in taste and crunch. The establishment itself it beautiful, and the staff were all wonderfully gracious hosts. Truly can’t wait until our next visit.

consistency is one of the best things they do. the food is great, we have been here 3 times in the past 2 years and it has always been great

Pros: fascinating decor everywhere (converted Catholic Church), super comfortable room (huge, high bed, great matching swivel chairs, awesome shower and high-tech jacuzzi, terrace off the bathroom overlooking quiet Sandwich street), relaxing and cozy sitting area with coffee, excellent restaurant with high-end (and, from a Boston perspective, not real high-priced) food. Place is spotless. Cons: some caulking needed in the shower. ??‍♂️

We had a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner we are both my children have been christened. The Belfry was a great choice. Great atmosphere, great service and delicious Thanksgiving dinner. All the way from soup to nuts. I would highly recommend it next year or before

5 Stars. We had our first visit today (Thanksgiving 2021) and we couldn’t have been more pleased. Our food and service was a 10! We will return! Highly recommend.

This is a church turned restaurant that came highly reminded for great food. The food is great. Fresh and flavorful. We had the arugula salad. It was a very generous portion with fresh arugula and ingredients. The dressing was just enough. I had the crab cake and shrimp. It was simply the best crab cake I'd ever had. So different. As if it didn't have a binding and tarted so fresh. There were many shrimp- more than I expected- big, flavorful and in a delicious sauce with a kick. We shared the key lime pie for dessert. It was a smaller portion but so good won't plenty of fresh cream and yummy once cream. What soured our night was before we were seated our experience at the bar. Am experience with disappointing staff that resonates through the evening, making it hard to enjoy the experience.

The Belfry Inn & Bistro was the Gold Standard for those of us who live in Plymouth, the high-end dinner to have for that special occasion. Expensive, but always worth it. Until our visit a week ago. We had a visitor from Washington D.C., and we booked a table because we wanted her to have a special experience. We were all disappointed. The server was excellent. But the food was a let-down. The appetizers were quite good: My wife's crab and avocado, my butter lettuce salad, and our friend's raw oysters. But the entrees were a disaster. My wife had the scallops. They were pale and overcooked, and not seared. The crab cake and shrimp dish was awful: The crab cake was mushy, and the shrimp so overcooked that our guest did not eat them. I had the short ribs. They were lean, but tasteless. On the whole, it was a let-down. Our waitress asked how the meal was. We said "okay,'' so she knew. When the bill came, it contained charges for a glass of Chardonnay and a glass of Proseco, which we had not ordered. As you might imagine, dinner was a downer, and we were embarrassed because we had raved about the Belfry to our friend. We all need to give our restaurants the benefit of the doubt, given the unimaginable challenges they face. So I backed off, and sent a private email to the manager. I did not hear back. Maybe he'll read it here.

We had dinner at the Belfry last week. It has long been a favorite of ours, especially for special occasions. It is expensive, but the service and food have made the cost worthwhile. Until last week.
