When you advertise soup, have soup! When someone orders a pasta salad with their sandwich, don’t serve them a chickpea salad and say “ sorry, we’re out of pasta salad”. Food was bland and service was poor. Seating area was crowded.

I stopped in here before heading out of town, and I was not disappointed! Staff were very friendly, I got a breakfast sandwich on a gluten free bagel which was amazing! They also had lots of homemade gluten free goodies that I grabbed for the ride home including raspberry thumbprint cookies, pumpkin muffin and brownie! Coffee was very fresh and delicious! Overall 10/10!

Upon entering Riverview Cafe I couldn’t help but notice how dirty the interior of their establishment is. Dust coated everything! The tables were all sticky and when we pointed this out they insisted they were clean. Things then took a turn for the worst when we watched a girl pick her nose and serve people afterwards. The woman who served us (tall butch lady pixie cut) had a very off putting attitude. I would highly recommend staying away from Riverview Cafe unless you are looking for the booger breakfast special.
Cafe Riverview deserves you going out of your way to support this wonderful coffee shop, sandwich and breakfast shop. Staffed with special needs young adults from the Riverview School under excellent management. You can have a great breakfast or lunch. Fantastic coffee and do something good with your dollar spent.
