Terrible fire and gone. They plan to rebuild

I'll start by saying that out waitress Alicia was incredible and gave us outstanding service despite not seeming to have much help. We ordered muscles and stuffed quahaug for appetizers. Quahaug was good but the muscles were sand and one had an actual rock that I bit into. For entree's we ordered shrimp scampi and fish & chips. The chips were raw inside, shrimp scampi came in a bowl of oil and melted butter for sauce with noodles that were not fully cooked. To top it all of the atmosphere is horrendous, the seating is right on top of one another, making any meaningful conversation incredibly awkward if not impossible. We have enjoyed coming to Captain's for many years and have even celebrated anniversaries and milestone events at this restaurant. Unfortunately with all of the new changes I don't think Captain's will continue to hold such a valuable spot for us with the downslide of quality.

I went here with my husband and his grandmother for my husbands birthday. I got lobster roll and lobster bisque the lobster bisque was good but the lobster roll had to much mayo. But i added lemon which helped

We had the pleasure of dining at Capt.'s Seafood in Sandwich recently, and it was a night to remember. The restaurant offers a fantastic selection of Greek specialties that truly stand out. I indulged in the moussaka with a side of Greek salad, and it was absolutely to die for. My wife had the salmon piccata, and our friends were equally delighted with their baked haddock. Every dish was prepared to perfection and bursting with flavor.

Our waitress was fantastic, providing excellent service throughout the evening. Despite the bar being busy on New Year's Eve, we sat in the restaurant area, which offered a quieter setting perfect for catching up with old friends. The owner was very graceful and made it a point to come by and say hello, adding a personal touch to our dining experience.

We've dined at Capt.'s Seafood before, and we will definitely return again. If you're in Sandwich and looking for a place with great food and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the spot to visit!

Terrible food. Service, Lauren, bar tender and atmosphere was lovely. We sat at the bar at 3pm ( place was practically empty so you'd think food would be great ). Ordered a broiled cod sandwich w/ fries + baked stuffed scrod/halibut w/ onion rings and broccoli plus, 2 glasses of wine. Fries were ice cold, onion rings were heavily fried , rock hard and ice cold, scrod/halibut was swimming in a heavy sauce, broccoli was way over cooked, limp and swimming in small bowl of water. Fish sandwich was just ok. These are typical and classic Cape Cod delights --- you missed the boat on every dish.

I hosted my office Christmas party at Captains recently, and couldn’t have been happier with the service, food, setting, and everything provided by the team at Captains. Faith and her team went the extra mile and set up an area for us decorated with a lovely Christmas tree, cozy fireplace, provided prompt service with drinks, the food was delicious, all around wonderful experience. We will be back for our next gathering! Thank you!

Captains is a great restaurant. I'm still waiting to see the captain. Haven't seen him yet. I wonder if he's got a hook and a parrot. He should fly a pirate flag and wear an eye patch. I'd be there alot more often to get those fantastic scallops. The bathroom was clean so the crew had effectively swabbed the poop deck. They do have a nice bar on board too but keep it clean and polite or you might have to walk the plank. Overall will come back.

Awful… period. wilted salad/w pre-rotted cukes, and the seafood just awful… 1st n last time. Seafood Sam’s, Pilot House far better choices for the money. Sorry… I’m spending that kind of money for lunch… C’mon.
