Lobster rolls {hot or chilled} were terrific, and the cole slaw was surprisingly tasty. The bar was raucously loud. It was a bit quieter in the dining room. We had hoped for a table overlooking the canal, but it wasn't in the cards.Wheelchair accessibility: There's an elevator just inside the front door that avoids the stairs up to the restaurant.

We had a great pre-Easter, pre-UConn's inevitable destruction of Illinois dinner at Fisherman's View. The view was indeed created with a Fisherman in mind and the food/drinks were encapsulated the theme (they were tasty, too)Gotta give a shoutout to the undisputed GOAT of the service industry, Jennifer. She was absolutely amazing and it's rare to run into someone like her. Thanks, Jennifer, for the laughs and basically for the ability to read our minds by bringing us all sorts of things right before we even asked.

The view is fantastic, the fish delicious, and our service was incredible. We had PEI mussels in a curry sauce as an app at our server’s suggestion, and they were amazing! The drinks are creative and delicious. We had the gin/lime juice drink(can’t remember what it was called), the spicy margarita, and the spritz. The first two were great, but we weren’t too crazy about the spritz. Ahi Tina/ quinoa dish was very good, as were the salmon dishes. Kids menu was good, too!

Great, great staff. Really good (sea)food. Just enough noisy to be fun, not enough to spoil the fun. Nice view of the canal.

This is my husband and I favorite spot on the Cape. We always enjoy it every time.I had the lobster roll which is the best in New England and my husband had the Scrod. Spectacular view and excellent server Jamie . It's pricey but so worth it!

You will put your name in the waiting list for a table, wait at the bar for 1 hour and order appetizers and drinks. When it is finally your turn to get the table you waited for so long and you are ready to order more drinks AND dinner, they decline to give you a table because "well, you already spent some money at the bar and we rather give the table to someone else who will spend more money now". If you ask to speak to a manager about this, his answer is "I am sorry, I will speak to the hostess about this" - BUT NEVER offers to get you the table you waited 1 hour for! We used to go often. Never went back after this poor treatment.

Lobster is the best. We also bought sushi for Christmas Eve. It was wonderful.

We arrived right at opening for lunch and received a warm welcome from the bartender/waitress. The food, as always, was abolutely delicious, and we appreciated the recommendations. Our server was wonderful - completely understanding that we wanted privacy, but also checking in just at the right times.Coincidentally, we had sushi take-out just a few days before. As always, we were completely wowed by the freshness of the fish and beautiful presentation. We are regular off-season customers. We love the view, the great food, and especially the fantastic service. We are so fortunate to have Fishermen's View right in our neighborhood!

Great seafood! We had the broiled haddock and the crispy cod melt sandwich. Both were piping hot and wonderful. Our server, Danielle, is a real pro and took great care of us.

the lobster rolls here are SOOOO good, definitely the best i've ever had. also the atmosphere is definitely a vibe because you can see the water and canal. this place gives the vibe of august by taylor swift, but the version that they made for that tv show the summer i turned pretty

My wife and I had lunch today at the FV. We both had broiled haddock. It was delicious. Our Server, Rachel was so bright and cheerful, it added to our experience. The restaurant was full with people celebrating birthdays and other occasions. We noticed people waiting for tables on our way out. This is a bright spot on Cape Cod in any season especially winter.
