Eating at Marshland Restaurant and bakery was a moment to remember. The service was excellent and Lobster Benedict was an excellent first for me. I won't forget this memorable day in the Cape.

Marshland makes the best tuna melt on the Cape. The sourdough bread is AOK (not the best but grateful for the option) but the great tuna salad with tomato and cheese, heaven. The setting is rough around the edges diner vibe. I love it! Service is also rough around the edges but who needs pampering in a diner. It's all good.

Let’s start with the food. The lobster eggs Benedict- soul healing. The pancakes-super tasty, even the plain ones. The portions-big. The chef and kitchen staff are phenomenal. As for the service, very friendly and quick. The waitress with the long black hair and the tan skin (feel bad I didn’t catch her name) is very lovely. The atmosphere was extremely warm and cozy, like visiting my nanas house. It seemed everybody knows each other by name-the staff knows the customers, and the customers know each other. All in all, my husband and I had an incredible experience, and we can’t wait to come back. Thank you guys so much for giving us an amazing start to our day!!

Two of the young workers were clearly sick. The bus boy who did the set ups blew his nose several times and did not wash his hand and then proceeded to handle the clean silverware and napkins. Another server was wiping her runny eyes and nose on the sleeve if her shirt. Yuck, we obviously left without eating.

My favorite breakfast place on the Cape for many years — excellent menu and everything I’ve ever ordered here was well prepared, flavorful and abundant. At peak hours during high tourist season the restaurant is often full; but wait times are reasonable. The bakery is also excellent if you want to pick up coffee and pastry.

If you are looking for a sandwich in sandwich you simply cannot pass this place up for your consideration. With a great selection of amazing sandwiches and home style meals. Don't forget to try the chowder! Very creamy and has soft clams.
Then finish with amazing pastries too.
