Could not give it no stars. Out of business
It's really nice to come sit out on the deck and look out over the beach and ocean while eating. The food was good, as well. I enjoyed the poke nachos and the fried haddock.
Great food, awesome location, excellent entertainment. The management is very friendly and accessible. Interior very nicely appointed, plus, management had the room acoustically engineered. Even with music going you can carry on a conversation. So good in fact, I shouldn’t post this as it may become too popular!
A Super Scenic View of the Eastern Canal Entrance, Sand- wich location....
This is a good place to visit for scenic oceanfront and the east entrance of the Cape Cod Canal .
My wife and I decided to try The Drunken Seal on a Saturday evening. The main dining room is on the second floor with a great view of the entrance to the Cape Cod Canal and Cape Cod Bay. The restaurant was busy but not overly crowded. Overall the food was good but has a fairly limited menu. Suggest you check their menu online before stopping in. The wait staff was very friendly but seemed really busy. It took a while for our drinks to arrive and a very long time to get our bill and then close it out.
You cannot beat the location, right on the water at the mouth of the canal. The menu is a bit limited and prices a little on the higher end but worth the visit.
Four of us were there 2 weeks ago. We do not live anywhere near this area but we were told to check out the drunken seal. Great place. Highly recommend. The high light was a young lady that sang Bobby McGee. I swore Janis was alive and well. Truly amazing. We could have listened to her all day. Hands down the best singer I have ever heard in a bar/restaurant. Please let her know.
Such a great place to see boats. Love visiting the canal and the beach. Great walking and bike path too.
We go there mainly in the offseason it's worth the view . The help is always and some things are better than others.

Very highly recommended. However, after 45 minutes of no one taking our dinner order, we left. Seemed like a nice place, but zero stars in this visit.
Great service! Beautiful views! Delicious food! .... and we didn’t have to wait 2 hours for a table!
I have visited the DS on about 10 occasions this 2019 Summer Season, and in my experiences it certainly appears the service issues at the bar have been solved!!!! My only food item was a cold seafood platter which was delicious!! Drinks are a bargain considering the gorgeous views of CapeCod bay and Canal and are very competitively priced in comparison to other near-by venues....One word of caution for non-residents though, the cash hungry Town of Sandwich now charges to park in the adjacent beach parking lot...Gotta pay for the millions of dollars worth of imported sand that washes away yearly somehow I guess??.....
Great views and friendly Service!
This hidden gem is one of my favorite places!! Great food & drinks! Obviously the view is awesome but so is the staff, especially Jafar! A real must see!!
