We had the back room for a retirement party, it was great. There was plenty of room for roughly 50 people. The food was very fresh and plentiful. Drink orders were served immediately. The staff was extremely polite, professional and attentive. This is a great place to have a special event or just a night out for dinner.

This pub serves the worst pizza I've tried in 20 years. The cheese is almost all cellulose. I called to speak to anyone and it goes to an answering machine. Don't waste your money.

Short rib French onion soup was amazing. No one has a menu as creative and varied as they do here. The food is really good.... not the best I've EVER had, but all things combined, this place rocks my socks. They Also have specials that come and go which keeps things interesting, not that youd be bored. Pam the bartender is fabulous! The vibe is a huge step above dungy, but it doesn't feel stuffy at all. instead it feels homey and clean like you're chillen at your Nana's kitchen island... so dress for Nanna... just not in your pjs... this is Not a dive bar by any means, but similar comfort feels that only The Local can conjure.Prove me wrong!The beer selection is varied and they have some interesting cocktails. Entertainment consists of regularly schedule week night events like music bingo, live music, a pool table, a room available for rent for parties, and a separate dining area away from the noise.

I ordered shrimp scampi with a side of mashed potatoes for takeout. You could taste the Sysco, bagged mashed potatoes from a mile away. The shrimp used may have been frozen. The pasta was very soft, and the whole dish was drenched in butter/olive oil, but lacked the flavor of a sauce. The seasoning on the shrimp themselves was pretty good. The garlic bread it came with was pretty good, but the rest killed my appettite. I hope the owner improves the ingredients and kitchen staff training.

I came here on 1/30 for my husband birthday with his grandmother, and the food is amazing here. I got the peanut bacon jam burger, which was awesome.our waitress was so friendly and sweet I would definitely come here again. And recommend the peanut butter bacon jam burger. I would definitely get it

First time trying here. Very pleasantly surprised how delicious all the meals tasted. Quahog was well prepared and served with butter, lemon and hot sauce. Fried haddock tacos were excellent. You also get a side which I chose the onion rings. They were homemade and so good. Also ordered fish and chips. You can chose beer batter or a light batter. The fries I believe are also homemade like the onion rings as they also were also delicious. Ordered a pizza to try at home and it too was delicious. Great service and fair prices.
