Best Italian food on cape cod hands down
I had a really disappointing dinner here that unfortunately ruined my evening. The food took a very long time to arrive, and when it finally did, it was almost completely cold and lacked any real flavor. To make matters worse, the server seemed completely uninterested in helping us when we asked for a check on our order, and the whole atmosphere felt chaotic and loud. It was a frustrating experience that I definitely do not plan on repeating.

The food was very much modern authentic Italian. Could not have been happier across the board. We had the scallop pork belly appetizer, and two meatballs for him with ricotta and marinara and I had the scampi I scampi pasta while he had the Tuscan prime rib for entree. Omg!! Everything was amazing could not have had better service or food anywhere! Cheryl or Sheryl was fantastic, Will definitely request her in future.

My husband and I go to Tomatoes weekly. The food is phenomenal and plentiful! I mostly get the chicken scampi which is my go to comfort food. It’s always hot and delicious. My husband always gets the calamari fra diavolo. The red sauce is just to die for and is loaded with calamari. The atmosphere is elegant but warm and welcoming. The best part of any visit however, is our favorite server, Danielle! Professional, warm, attentive, and friendly are a few of the qualities that have us requesting her often. Danielle goes out of her way to be on top of every detail. We feel absolutely spoiled when we visit!

Waitress demands for more tips:
I usually do take out in this restaurant since most of the night it get crowded. But I decide to dine in with my friends because I really enjoyed their pasta, its very delicious. However I probably will never dine in this restaurant ever again. On the day of dining the waitress was very nice and everything was great but at the end of the meal she have completely ruined everything. I saw she was having a conversation with a group of waitress and after few comment she have decided to come to our table and demand for more tips. My waitress came to me and demanded for for tips. She asked were you not happy with my service? This is not a enough tips for service. I gave her $20 tips and I know this wasn't in the high 20% tip range but I did my best, I always tried my best to tip as much as I can. I am not rich, I work just like other people to pay bills, and maintain their life. She said it in front of everyone, my friends and other customers. The atmosphere became awkward, embarrassing and humiliating so I gave her extra $20 in cash for the tip, she just took it out of my hand and walked away. I was shocked with the demand she made because she was unhappy with the amount of tips. Who would want to go to diner where waitress demand for more tips when she's not happy about it? Who embarrass customer in front of other people just because they were not happy with the tips? Its a job as a server to serve food in the restaurant and as a customer we need to enjoy the food and pay the price of the food that is written in the menu. I can't give you everything in my wallet just because you did your job as you were hired to do so. Everyone needs to maintain their own life. Tips are voluntary gifts from the customer for services performed; a server cannot legally mandate a higher tip unless it is a pre-disclosed mandatory service charge.

I was a first time patron. Atmosphere is great. Quahig stuffies were wet and lacked a tolerable taste, very salty. I ordered Salmon and on my 2nd bite my tongue was scratched by a metal shard likely a brillo pad. The hostess/ Manager approached the table to apologize. When I informed her I was ready to go she still returned with a $28 bill for the awful stuffies and 3 oysters. I had no problem paying, she had my card in hand to swipe it. But after finding metal in my food it is shameful to no comp the rest of the meal that had no alcoholic beverages. She reluctantly agree to comp the meal after I told her this was poor customer service. Multi million dollar company that was did want want to accept fault! Just shameful!

This restaurant is amazing. I brought my friend here for her birthday and I don't regret it. I had never been. The food was amazing. The Mile High Chocolate cake was ridiculously high. I believe 5 layers! I will definitely return. I read that on Tuesdays they have an all you can eat taco buffet!
