Angelo's Roast Beef and Pizza Saugus

Another gem in Saugus when you compare takeout places. Homemade Greek style pizza from scratch is certainly the best thing on the menu. Everything is cheap and freshly made. Most of the menu are things made from scratch. They even have their own recipes from their chicken and steak marinade to their own red sauce they put on their pizzas and all their parmesan dishes. The owner is an outstanding gentleman that cares more about the customers than anything else. The place is very clean and the cooks in the back are very talented. If there ever is a problem with the order, the staff, including the owner will usually go out of their way to fix it for you. I encourage you to give them a try.

Ask for a more New York style roast beef sandwich, small juniors sort of it was over the top. If you're not familiar it's with horseradish and mayonnaise as opposed to barbecue sauce and that horseradish was like wasabi it just hits you... In a great way.

The Vegetarian and Greek Pizza’s were nice, made fresh and were served hot. The Pizza was crunchy and flavorful. I would highly recommend them

I order the Super Beef on an onion roll. It has enough beef that I can remove half and feed my 3 dogs. The remaining sandwich is still huge. The fries are awesome! They make a roast beef that will rival any standard Massachusetts roast beef out there. As good as all of the big names.

This place has become the new spot for delivery for me.We order once maybe twice a week grom here. Food is good and theyngive good side portions. I usually get the steak tip dinner or a gluten gree pizza. My girlfriend gets the greek salad or the falafel bowl which lated her 3 days. live this place, keep up the great work!

I can't believe it took me this long to try Angelo's, living in the area I wish I stopped in sooner.
Food was delicious. I am not a fan of thick chicken, so when I asked if their chicken parm was thick or thin, she explained they bread and fry their cutlets for your order so I can request thin or thick. That was impressive to me. My sub was so good I couldn't stop raving about it.
The shop was very clean and the staff extremely nice. Prices were great too. I will definitely be back

I stopped by yesterday while visiting other businesses in the plaza and decided to grab a quick bite. Let me just say, the lady at the counter was an absolute pleasure! She was so friendly and clearly loves her job. When I asked what kinds of fries they offered, she enthusiastically listed about five different options. Based on her recommendation, I went with their regular fries—and they were delicious! Everything I tried was amazing. I’ll definitely be back!

Steak tip wrap was good without hots & we got the cheese pizza. Both were piping hot and served immediately the people at the counter were pretty friendly.
