I recently purchased rice, red beans, chicken, yucca, and broccoli from this place, but the food was spoiled and had a terrible odor. I returned to the counter to report the issue, and the first thing the attendant said was that she wouldn’t refund my money due to store policy. Instead, she offered another serving. I explained that the food was clearly rotten and spoiled, but she simply replied that there was nothing she could do. I felt so nauseated that I could barely stand or speak, I had to rush to the ladies’ room. That’s how sick I felt. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Be cautious.

If you love Cuban food - especially - the Cuban Sandwhich and fried yucca - this is your place. The Cuban sandwich was off the chain delicious. Just like what I ate for years in Tampa. The fried yucca fries were awesome. So good. I will be eating their Cuban Sandwich many times.
The people there, cook included were so nice. This is the happiest I've been with a sandwich.

The place is amazing every single time! The freshness the flavor the quality is phenomenal, for a spot on route one in Saugus where you can’t find this type of food, it’s a hidden GEM!
The staff was nice. But the beans had a very off putting taste that to me tasted rancid. It could just be the seasonings used but it just was not good and I couldn’t eat more than two bites. The ropa vieja and rice was okay just a bit expensive for what you’re getting. I hope I’m wrong about the beans being rancid but the sour taste from the broth wasn’t good and made me a bit grossed out
I came to the mall looking for shoes... I was VERY skeptical about this place for MONTHS. My 8 yr old told me he had it with my mom and that it was like nothing he'd ever had before! Soo to get my doubts out the way I decided to give it a chance.OMG I had never had Cuban food before even when in FL. This little place exceeded my expectations! I had arroz congri, platano maduro, and alitas. So delicious, food is well seasoned and warm. The lady upfront was very welcoming and sweet. I decided to tell her about my experience after all. She offered to give me a try of Ropa vieja and camanores al vino which I ended up buying to go.
