***BAKERY CLOSED***(May 15, 2023)Really great bakery!! Everything is so good!!I love the carrot cake and the cannoli is my favorite!!Unfortunately, it is supposedly Temporarily Closed for Renovations...but I heard from the Liquor Store next to Esposito Bakery that the bakery is permanently closed...so I'm not to sure what is going on. But, when I find out I'll update my review and the business info!

Good pizza with traditional sweet(er) sauce, great brownies and other baked goods. Two different women work the counter. One is delightful and helpful, the other seems grudgingly helpful and is cold. I’ve never ordered any custom cakes.

I have been here a few times over the years but just went back like a month ago grab some pizza and pastries.They were so good and the women That works there she is an absolutely wonderful women ,my daughter loved her she always spent time talking with us and recommended what was good or fresh.we are so sorry to see this place close ,all the small business in saugus are disappearing it very sad my guess is rent too high .You would think they would want good business in the town instead of bunch of apartments and condominiums.

Baked goods were ok, but nearby bakeries are better. What really irked me was the unnecessarily rude lady behind the counter. We asked what kind of danishes they have (since they weren't labeled) and she replied "can't you tell".

BEWARE!!! I ordered a Carrot Cake on 10/26/22 for pick up 10:30 am on 10/27/22. The 94 year old birthday girls favorite cake is carrot cake!! The cake was in the box from 10:30 am to 1:30 when we sang Happy Birthday! The cake was beautiful! However, when we cut into the cake it was ITALIAN RUM AND FROZEN SOLID IN THE CENTER AFTER THREE HOURS! We were expecting carrot cake!!!!!! When I personally went back into the bakery and told the woman behind the counter of their error her response to me was “did you bring the cake back?” I was in Framingham, we sang happy birthday and cut into the cake! Was I supposed to pack it up and drive back to Saugus and leave the party?” She was actually arguing with me as though I was wrong!!! I asked to speak to the manager and she told me she won’t be in until the morning. I Gave her my name and phone number and told her to tell the manager to call me, and she told me “she won’t call you, she has 20 other names and numbers over there that she won’t call back there’s nothing I can do!” This is no way to run a business!

Not terrible, but disappointing. Went in today looking for a chocolate cake. Both people working told me multiple times the cake I purchased was chocolate. The cake was very much not chocolate.

Arancini balls should be made daily and sold fresh .nothing worse than biting into one with days old meat inside. Also, when slicing bread and a loaf falls on the floor it should be discarded not put back on the shelf.

BEWARE !!!!!!!! READ BEFORE ORDERING!!!! If I could rate this place a 0 I would have . Staff is beyond rude !!! Special ordered 2 cakes one of which was for my nephew with severe Anaphylactic allergies, which I listed and reiterated to them 4 times!!!! They did nothing but say “yes, he will be fine to eat.” When we brought one of the cakes to the birthday party, the order was made wrong . The one for whom was for the birthday boy with the allergies was made with strawberry and walnut filling !!!! BOTH OF WHICH I expressed he was allergic to . When we went home and cut into the second cake that order was wrong as well!!!! I called and they pretty much did not even care and told me to bring the Cake back in. Once I did so, they took the cake and then refused to give me my money back ! NOT to mention frosting is loaded with food coloring and totally taste like over powering chemicals !! Safe yourself the aggravation and disappointment and find another bakery !
