Great family owned diner! We happened onto it on our way from Salem to the airport, stopped in for breakfast. Everyone was super nice and the food was fantastic! Probably the best breakfast potatoes I’ve ever had, eggs and bacon were great, I almost ordered the three scrambled egg breakfast, and decided to just go with two, and glad I did, the portions were huge! If you are in the area, it’s a must stop!

Well this restaurant has absolutely exceeded my expectations! The food portions were huge, the food was cooked perfectly, and the service was outstanding. This is a must stop for breakfast if your visiting the area.

The food was good menu a little confusing, causing higher price, but overall it was good.

Visiting Maine from Southern state, so stopped in here for breakfast. Sweet little restaurant. Food was good, service was great. You could tell they had regulars and they knew who they were. Really nice.
We were on vacation and wanted to find a local diner and this was a great pick! We were sat right away. As we were finishing up, the line was out the door so they do get busy! But it would be well worth the wait. They have very generous portions, food was hot, staff were friendly, hometown atmosphere, not too too loud, kids loved the food and loved that we could sit by the window to see the cars going by to keep the kids busy. Would highly recommend!

What's not to like? Good food, good waitress staff, never ending cup of coffee which is good. Did I use the word GOOD to often. Maybe now you understand. Hammersmith is a good place to go. Please try it.
