Been going there since I was a kid. I used to go with my dad. All the pastries are fantastic, and the coffee is nice and hot. Perfect thing for a cold day. Everything is made fresh, nothing bought. Definitely beats Dunken Donuts by a country mile.

Just picked up a dozen. Excellent quality as always. Our receipt instructs to check your order before you leave the store, which we did not. Left the store, got to destination, opened box, 11 donuts. 🤷‍♀️ We are from out of state and unable to have the quantity rectified.

Kanes hits you with those big doughnuts that make you feel like a kid again. The prices stay kind, the flavors stay bold, and the maple bacon is the crown jewel. Not everyone is brave enough to make one, but Kanes leans right into it and nails it every single time. Whenever we roll into Saugus to visit family, we show up with a box from here because nothing says we missed you like a dozen from the hometown favorite.

The coffee keeps it simple. No smoke and mirrors, no overhyped circus tricks. Just a clean, steady cup that pairs perfectly with a coffee roll that could fix any tired morning.

And then the twist. The pizza. I love when a bakery throws a little surprise in the mix, and their square Sicilian slice grabs your attention right away. Great texture, great flavor, and honestly better than a few of the greasier options in town. I would choose a slice here with zero hesitation.

The best donuts on the North shore. Fresh and handmade everyday. The donuts are huge. Theres a line and a dozen donuts will run you $36

As someone with celiac this place is a gem. I drove 1.5 hours and do not regret anything. The Gluten Free donuts are big, fluffy and a lot of awesome flavors. Can’t wait to come back!

I loved this donut shop! It’s so cute on the inside and outside and had a great variety to choose from. Prices were reasonable and the donuts I had were delicious. Workers were very nice and it was a perfect place to start my morning.

This is generally the Kane's location I visit as it's more intimate, and the one I'm used to. It was renovated a couple years ago which has helped it last. The donuts are fantastic and quite large, but somewhat pricey (but not overwhelming). As this location is smaller, many options run out after the early morning, so you may need to go to the Route 1 location.
