Best roast beef on the North Shore. I've been eating here for over 20 years and it is consistently good. They wait until they see you to make the fries so they are nice and fresh.
I've been going to this spot since the late 80s, any ways. I got a steak and cheese recently(tonight) with Xtra cheese n mayo. What I got, was a ton of steak over flowing making the bread soggy not just that the cheese and mayo was no where to be found or tasted. I don't like having just shredded steak if I did I'd get steak tips. What happened to putting the cheese on the steak while on the grill? Plus no need to over do the steak. I won't buy from here. When I popped into Mike's for a quick roast beef, I wasn't expecting anything special. I eat a lot of roast beefs and have high standards. I have to say, Mike's impressed me. The beef was massive, perfectly cooked, and the sauce was somehow better than it normally is. I highly recommend everyone who likes roast beef give Mike's a shot.
