Saw this place recommended on some random persons story that I have added on snapchat, went here on a whim like an hour before they closed and had a splendiferous experience. Accommodating staff, delicious Italian food I couldn't pronounce, 10/10 will be going back

Finally made it to Paolo's in Saugus . Everything was amazing. We did not have a reservation, but the host got us right in. We got chicken parmigiana and steak tips (that were cooked perfectly). Our server Susan was friendly and so quick . Will definitely make the ride back for dinner again

BEST pasta i’ve had in a while you guys deserve an award. The rigatoni had a great texture and the chicken cutlet used for the chicken parm was flavorful and crunchy, for $12 you get a good fair amount of extremely tasty food. You’ve got yourselves a repeat customer out of me and i hope you guys are in business for a long time and everybody should rush to get a chance to try your food.

I cannot say everything I would like to express in such a short paragraph.
But to put it lightly, you'd be a fool not to try it at least once. Honestly you'd be hooked.
Great for date night! Perfect the couple who seriously need their outing without children climbing their legs or running in circles around them, this is the perfect ambiance for relaxing in a great atmosphere, and wonderful employees, I love this place, I cannot wait to go back.. even lunch for a to go, I love the meatball sub, perfect amount of sauce, and cheese and the meatballs? What can I say except, mmmmmmhmmm! The flavor is sensational!
Please check it out, I urge you to please try it... you will love it!

My husband and I had the most incredible dining experience here! From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional. Our waitress was not only attentive but also incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home.

Now, let's talk about the food—the homemade pasta was hands-down the best we've ever had! Each bite was perfection, you can really taste the love and care that goes into their dishes. And the drinks? Wow! Perfectly crafted and so delicious, we couldn't get enough.

We’re already planning our next visit because honestly, it’s going to be tough finding anywhere else in the area that matches this level of quality and service. Highly recommend!

We had dinner at Paolo's for the first time to celebrate our anniversary. The food was nothing short of spectacular. We began with a burrata, peach and blueberry salad with a balsamic glaze. Exquisite! We then shared the chicken Milanese with risotto for our main and also enjoyed the beans, greens and polenta. The chicken was crisp and tender with a delicious lemon butter sauce with wine and capers. The risotto was perfectly cooked with a creamy texture and lovely tomato, caper, and garlic undertones. The dish was served with roasted asparagus, eggplant zucchini and red peppers. The polenta was creamy garlicky and served with canallini beans and wilted spinach. I cannot praise the food more highly. The ambiance was warm, friendly and casual. The wait staff was attentive without being intrusive and the owner circulated to ensure that everyone was well served. Overall a thoroughly pleasant and lovely evening!

Paolo's is a gem, hidden in a small Saugus strip mall. Although we've always gotten take out, the dining room and bar look like an enjoyable place to have an incredible dinner. It is always nice to exchange pleasantries with owner Paul or say a quick hello to Sandra as she runs the bar and the front of the house. The food is top notch! From Pizza to Bolognese to our personal favorite the Chicken and Broccoli with fresh Rigatoni.. it's incredible. I certainly recommend Paolo's to anyone who wants a phenomenal meal on the North Shore of Boston. You won't be let down!

It was our third and last time. We were greeted by the owner and got quickly seated since no one was there. We ordered the chicken wings... came out hot and very tasty. I wish I could remember our waitress's name... she was very lovely. I ordered the Farfelle with spinach, sundried tomatoes and pancetta in a wine sauce. My friend got the Bianco pizza and added caramelized onions. My dish came out piping hot and it looked gross... I started to try it and notice the bow tie pasta was all mush and the sauce was saturated the dish. My friend's pizza had no taste and she added more grated cheese, salt and hot pepper. My friend tried some of mine and agreed the sauce and pasta was nasty. We did tell the waitress and my friend notice her tell the owner. The waitress did mention after awhile to re make it and I just wanted to leave. The air conditioning was nearly working and fruit flies began to appear. She shut our light off on the table and that helped. The part that is bothering is that the owner was there the whole time and never came by...there was only about 6 other people in the whole place. That's it... moving on.

We love going to Paolo’s. Exceptionally prepared dishes from a thoughtful menu. The staff are always welcoming and friendly and the decor of Paolo’s is chic yet casual enough that we always feel comfortable. We look forward to our next visit to Paolo’s!

Paolo's was excellent. We have been many times and this visit didn't disappoint. We brought family members who had never been before and they were blown away. All entreé portions are enough for another meal. The lamb chop special presented with 5 grilled loin chops with roasted potatoes and grilled vegetables. Our party of 6 shared 2 apps and 2 portions of tiramisu for dessert. There was enough for all of us. We will be back. Paolo's never disappoints.

We recently enjoyed a mid-week dinner and drinks at Paolo's. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The drinks were divine. The food was fresh-tasting and perfectly prepared. Don't be fooled by Paolo's unpretentious location, it's a gem!

One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever eaten at! The food is all fresh and delicious, and made with artistry and love. Love? Yeah, love. It’s as if the chef/owner, Paul, crafts each entree as if he’s making it for his own family for Sunday dinner. If you order something fried, the batter is light, airy, and crispy like the calamari in this pic. If you order pasta, good luck finding anything fresher. To steal from what another diner wrote on their FB page, this is the kind of Italian restaurant Billy Joel writes songs about. I just wish it was closer so I could eat there more often!
