I can’t say enough about Soc’s. We live in Boston and although we love visiting new ice cream stands, Soc’s has become our go-to place and a tradition. From a customer’s perspective it’s just a fantastic business. The ice cream is consistently excellent, as is the service. Both are exactly what you’d hope to find at an ice cream stand. The hours and fantastic, and they have a longer season than any other ice cream stand I know of. It feels like the summer is extended by months.There isn’t anything I would change.

Don't get me wrong, the ice cream is amazing-- but they are not super great about allergens. Everyone there is nice, but my wife and I both have Celiac disease-- and until recently, we were told that the toppings and homemade ice cream was safe for us to eat. Turns out, they pack the toppings in wheat flour, and all ice cream is made in the same machine. I just wish we had been told this ahead of time, as it was making us sick every time and we had no clue why.If you don't have allergies, they're great!
