The food and service were excellent! We had a great time with some friends and we love the ciabatta bread with the butter! The dinner was amazing we enjoyed ourselves very much! The staff is always friendly we love coming here you all deserve all the credit in the world! Keep up the great work! The steak and cod are amazing you won't be disappointed, order it with broccoli!

So, it's been a year since being here. WOW! How things have changed. Arrived with pre-booking. The millennial greeter was advised of our reservation as we entered.. She did not greet or say a word... just took two menu's and walked away. I guess we were suppose to follow her, which we did eventually. She placed menu's on the table and walked away. No greeting...not even upon entering the restaurant. Wait staff arrived and we asked if there were any specials.. again, no friendly greeting. We are not looking to make new friends, it's just not what we expected. The menu was blah, much higher prices than our last visit. We felt that it would not be a memorable dinner at $100+. We left and ordered a take home pizza elsewhere. Not a place we would return to any time soon

The last few times that we have been to Chardonnay's the food has been great. Our servers also have been spot on. This time the service was spotty at best. Our server was very nice and pleasant but lacked the follow through that we are used to. We had to ask for bread with our salads. 3 in our party received drinks right away. 1 had to wait 20 minutes as they were out of Iced Tea. When dinner came, I asked for water. It never arrived. We were finished with dinner, she asked if we would like anything else. We said no. She walked away empty handed as dirty dishes sat in front of us while the check was being prepared.

Food and Service were 5 Star! Food was delicious and the service is so detailed and personal. I can’t believe I have never been here before. Now we’ve been 3 times this month alone. We lived in NY and Boston now south shore for 2 years and out of many years of eating and tasting food at a variety of locations. This place is a well deserved 5 star restaurant. I was hesitant because of some of the reviews. But perception is everything. Please ignore what seems to be local “Karen’s” very ill-intended (and after visiting a few times I am sure now, are) false reviews. It can be so hurtful to a local business. Give this place a treat for yourself if you’ve never been.

Met a friend d for a quick dinner. I ordered the red sangria, she had the watermelon margarita. Both were served in giant martini glasses. I believe mine was only $10. I ordered the chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and took a slice of peanut butter cake to go. The sandwich was delicious. Very fresh bun and has bacon, avocado and a chipotle mayo. The cake was delicious. It was chocolate cake filed with peanut butter mousse and covered in chocolate ganache. Delicious. Service was friendly and attentive. I would certainly return.
