We had to wait nearly 10 minutes to be seated even though there were free tables, and then the hostess tried to skip us to seat her friend. Obviously, I said something and we then got sat. It took another 15+ minutes for our server to come and take our orders. Then the food (2 sandwiches) took almost 40 minutes to come out. My turkey sandwich had 2 small slices of turkey on it. Definitely not worth the $10. Our server didn't come back once while we were eating, so I couldn't get a refill. Then, we had to wait another 15+ minutes for the bill as she continuously walked AROUND our table without ever passing it. The place was a mess, too. There was a literal food fight like 3 tables behind us and nobody tried to stop it.

Went in late at night after going out so the food taking longer may be because the fryer was off but we did have ti wait a while for the awful awful. But they were great when we did get them.

I have to give a lot of credit to the younger generation today most don't want to leave their house, but the young people working here tonight get a lot of credit!!! They were working really hard for their money ! I wish them two young people long,healthy, happy & lucrative lives ! Proud to see them doing a great Job, I wish I could shake their folks hands they have done a wonderful job ! Keep going don't give up, you got this !!! Success is in both of your futures !!! I got two Aweful Awefuls on Tuesday September 24th 2024 at around 8pm-give those kids a raise !!!!

This has been a family favorite of my family's for DECADES. Whenever we're back in RI, we ALWAYS have to eat here--and always order a coffee Awful Awful with our meals. The staff have always been friendly and the food delicious. It is a good family restaurant and a great place to bring young kids, teens, or your grandparents. :) And affordable. Don't get me wrong... If you're looking for a 5-star high end restaurant, this isn't it. But this is a fantastic family restaurant for families of all ages. Think of it better than a Friendly's, on par with Bliss Brothers, and just a good neighborhood place. :) It's by far my favorite. :)

Always enjoy visiting Newport Creamery when in or near Rhode Island (Seekonk MA), visited with my wife and son for a nice lunch on Friday August 23 and I enjoyed my fish sandwich and coffee Awful Awful!
Still good after all these years. Very clean. Very nice staff. Must visit when we come to visit family. Mmm, vermonster, so simple but delicious.

I've been going to NPC since I was a Lil tyke in the 70s. Many things have changed and some locations have closed but it still is the same old good quick bite, good ice cream and delicious unique Awful awfuls, which are Luke a shake but unique to NPC. Kids food is fine and burgers are good, ice cream is always good. If you're looking for 5 star d8ning, this isn't it. But for a family restaurant, this is fine. Now that I have grandkids I hope they continue to enjoy this as they grow, not much left from when I was little.
Why did they get rid of French vanilla ice cream. Come on! That flavor makes a great awful awful
