The plaza the bakery is located in made me feel as though I traveled back in time to an old town road- beloved by its community, but has certainly weathered the storm.
The atmosphere and decor of the bakery felt as though it was preserved in a time capsule. There is a strong sense of fellowship, and pride in ownership which I admire.
THE SERVICE:
Friendly employee offering a warm smile, greeting, and asked how she may assist me. After informing her I was a new customer and needed time to peruse, she offered space but remained available to answer questions.
The bakery was clean and well organized making it easy to make selections.
The employee was knowledgeable with respect to menu items, which was refreshing and very helpful.
THE CONFECTIONS:
The regular biscotti was the standout bite pairing well with my morning hot tea. The almond biscotti was okay. I didn’t pick up much almond flavor although there were several slices of almonds. The corn muffin was cooked nicely and average in taste.
THE SAVORY:
The spinach and feta stuffed croissant was light and satisfactory. The croissant was cooked perfectly. I particularly liked the fact the filling didn’t alter the texture of the dough. However, the filling was underwhelming- the salt of the feta provided the only flavoring.
The BBQ chicken style pizza strip: The sauce was the only distinguishing flavor but not sufficient to compensate for the bland overcooked chicken.
Although not pictured, the pepperoni style pizza strip was very tasty.
THE VALUE:
Confections and savory items for all budgets; good customer service, and good variety.

I love this bakery!!! My daughter Angelena Fortin is one of the best employees that works here she is loyal to the business and has worked here since she was 14 years old. She is great with all the customers and goes out of her way to people please everyone. I hope that more people will post the great reviews that have dealt with her.

Had a fantastic lunch! Angelina was super friendly. Had my order correct and fast. Had a pleasant attitude and good conversation. Knew all the products I was looking for and was extremely helpful. Not only does this place have great calzones and pastries but they made me feel so much better about a slightly embarrassing situation. My (very fast) 2 year old pulled away from me and RAN behind the counter and through the kitchen. I ran to get her and as I went back out to join my mother and get our pastries thinking they were going to ask us not to return, the owner came out to say how beautiful my daughter was and tell me how many times that a child has made a run for their kitchen. We were loyal customers of this place before but will be now even more so.

I love everything this bakery makes! Fresh as fresh gets and the finest ingredients. Wonderful owners and staff. My family has been coming here since it's inception and still enjoy it everytime. I just had a Stuffed Chicken Parm Calzone and a Meatball and Cheese one and they were awesome! Their pastries are fabulous as well. You must try them!

Amazing food, service, and price. The people are always so friendly and nice! Real, authentic, family-owned small-business vibe. My favs are the bakery style pizza, calzones (spinach pep & eggplant), and honestly anything from the pastry case (with special s/o to the cinnamon twists, egg biscuits, and peanut butter squares - my friends love these). Made fresh and you can taste the difference. Way better than supermarket stuff while still being reasonably priced, and again, the people are great - always a highlight of my day when I go into Scialo's County Bakery!
