Great food, service and concert venue.
I hosted a rehearsal dinner for 40 there last month. We had the patio/garden room. It was fabulous. Great location, food, staff and Amanda is great to work with. Highly recommend.
Sunday brunch!3 months ago.. April! What a flop!!! !Went for breakfast brunch! 8 of us!! Made reservations.!! A very small and crowded room!! No room to move! Food was not very good.. took forever for food! We were not accommodated at all .. servers could not keep up!!Cook is trying to cut corners and save money! Poor quality breakfast meats!! And bread!! Not worth the money!!food in general..
Desperately need some AC in the place. Other then that. Great food and drink.
Id give a higher score for the atmosphere. A 1700 tavern with working fireplaces. Pricey but not outrageous for what you get. But the food and drink is fresh, local sourced and well prepared. All food ingredients sourced from local farms. The turkey dinner is impressive. I love the weekly specials and season appropriate soups and drinks
My fav time to visit, fall winter when they get the fires going. Lots of local music talent play there.
The chef obviously loves his job. Waitstaff long timers.
Pleasant Father's Day experience. I love the vintage look of this place. So rustic and beautiful . Plenty parking, pleasant staff, lots of seating inside and outside. We sat inside. Lots to choose from on the menu. Food was ok, I didn't rave but I'd go back to try other things. No wait for food, good
food temps and average price.
Saw Mike Ferris, first class act!

My friend took me there for dinner for my birthday. The setting was very nice. I ordered the prime rib.The waiter suggested the larger cut which was fine with me.I asked for an end cut in which I got. We ordered salads for weren't even done with the salad when the meals came out and we're placed right in front of us. To make a long story shot, the prime rib was not good at all the dessert. The pecan pumpkin cheesecake which the waiter told us his homemade on the premises was half frozen.I will not go back to that restaurant. We drove 45 minutes to get there*I've heard a lot of good things.I was not impressed with it at all.
The other waiters in the room that we were in were conversing with the customers and having a good time. Our waiter came and checked on us twice.

What a wonderful spot to grab a meal. We had about a 20 minute wait because we did not have a reservation but it went by quick. The restaurant is a bit on the rustic side but it had a ton of charm. While we waited for our meal we were serenaded by a gentleman playing the piano. For our meals I had the small prime rib served with mashed butternut squash and my girlfriend had the turkey dinner. The prime rib was so flavorful and cooked perfectly. We absolutely loved this place.

It's old - very old, but that's the charm. It's intentionally not updated and in existence since 1740.
We recently hosted a repast in one of their lower banquet rooms and the experience was outstanding! I would go out of my way to host any event here as they have the rooms, capacity, staff, bars, food, etc. It was space that was warm, welcoming, and plenty of room. Our bartender, Cam and server, Linda were phenomenal.
Thank you!

The service was outstanding, and my wife had their crab cakes. She really enjoyed them. I had their ruben and onion rings, and we enjoyed ? ourselves. We will return.

Multiple dining rooms ranging from small private rooms to large; live entertainment in the tavern, small dining room, medium-sized ballroom, and large nightclub-style room. Nationally touring and local artists performing acoustic pop, rock covers, and electric blues. Downside is the sound level of amplified band concerts in the big room can be excessive, recommend bringing earplugs.
