We always love going there. Some of the reviews I have read seem biased. I do not want my server to be engaging. That’s not professional. I want my server to serve me in a professional manner there’s a big difference. Also someone wrote it’s dark and dingy. That’s what we love. But we call it atmospheric and romantic. Bartenders are always excellent. Service never has been poor. The food was always tasty. Portions are large. They run 3 course specials that are fun if you have an appetite. It’s not a kid friendly place. Although they are not rude to kids the kids probably wouldn’t enjoy it. It’s small and tables are close together. We sat at the bar once because we didn’t have a reservation and the place was packed. We had a great time. Like the Italians say “Try it, You’ll like it” 😄 going there tonight
We tried this restaurant twice. First of all, having high school age kids serving isn’t the best idea. They don’t know the menu that well. The decor needs an update, very dark, dingy. Unfortunately the food at Olive Garden has more flavor. We wanted to try this place for the longest time and it was a let down. Second time we went was for a birthday. Again, not the greatest food. Seat cushions dirty and flat…it’s a shame because we love the size of the restaurant and the location but we aren’t interested in a 3rd time…

I never make reviews but had to! 10/10 best Italian in Shrewsbury. I’ve only had take out and it was incredible. Packaged well by wrapping takeout boxes in plastic wrap to keep hot. Quality food, big portions, decent pricing.

6:30 reservation and it is 7 and we are still waiting and rather than be honest they say the 7 reservation and blamed other customers. Manager is rude!
We tried Amici for the first time to celebrate a birthday. The service was good but the food was just okay. The apps and salads were great and nice sized portions however the main course was average. The dessert was large but we only ate a couple of bites.

This was our second time visiting the restaurant and we would go back. The portions are enough to eat and take home to have 2 or 3 more meals. We had the pasta and meatballs (and added sausage), chicken piccata, biccole, filet, and cannalloni fiorentina. All meals were excellent. We had desserts as well, limincello cake, carrot cake, and creme brulee.We would recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly.
Not much parking, but they have valet.No waiting area so we were in the way while we waited. The food and the service were stellar and the prices are more than reasonable.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
