By far, an establishment to enjoy. Culinary Institute of America would find this establishment as a delightful atmosphere, surrounding, and fresh delight. Menu is bountiful, satisfying as well as filling. Proportions meet price. Highly recommend.

They used rancid peanuts in kung pao and old oil for spring roll. Waitress was rude because she was the only one working. After complaining about the food, she just walked away with no response. The food left me feeling sick all day.

HORRIBLE! Never again. We used to always go here because the food was great. But we haven't been back in a long while and now I wish I stayed away. Did they change owners? Crab Rangoon had NO crab or even any crab flavor. Normally these are our favorite, but these tasted only like cream cheese. We had a double order and couldn't eat them. Chicken fingers were dried up on the inside and the grease was terrible. House Special rice had ZERO flavor!!! How do you put beef, chicken, pork, and maybe it was shrimp into rice and have NO flavor at all? The beef was the consistency of chewing gum. The chicken was rubbery, the pork was all fat, and my wife said it had shrimp but I wasn't sure because there was NO flavor. We threw away 90% of the food. This felt like a $43 theft! Clean up was another nightmare. The grease fat just kept spreading in spite of the dish soap. How is that possible? Save your money folks. Anything else is better than this. Hopefully we won't get sick tonight or I'll be calling it Bauhinia Bulimia.

My beef was ROTTEN. legitimately to the point I could smell it (thank god it never made its way into my mouth.) Apparently this happens quite often according to other reviews so the question is how are they still in business???

**Nightmare of a Meal - Avoid Like the Plague!**

I had the misfortune of ordering takeout from Bauhinia and it was an abysmal experience from start to finish. First off, the beef was not just overcooked, it was practically incinerated! Every bite was a struggle, as if chewing on rubber. But that’s not the worst part. The beef was smothered in an overwhelming, sickening sauce that did nothing but mask the fact that some pieces were rotten. Yes, rotten! The smell alone was enough to make me gag.

It's appalling that a restaurant could serve food this bad. It’s as if the kitchen staff are completely clueless about cooking, or worse, deliberately trying to poison their customers. I wouldn't feed this slop to my worst enemy. The whole experience was a health hazard and a disgrace.

Save yourself the trouble and potential food poisoning - avoid this place like the plague! Bauhinia should be shut down for good.

This is the worst take out food I have ever ordered. They must be getting the good reviews from people who like fatty, fried, American-style Chinese food and unauthentic dishes. We order Szechuan tofu. The tofu was silken, not well cooked, swimming in a gallon of fatty sauce with no vegetables. We should have known not to order the pad Thai. It was plain boiled noodles - no seasoning- with fried cabbage, onions, and bean sprouts. The chicken looked off, not sure. Zero flavor. Don’t offer it if you can’t make it correctly. The Szechuan green beans tasted ok, same overly sweet spicy sauce, but oil was pooling around the edges once on the plate. I wish other restaurants were open on Mondays. $45 wasted. We didn’t even eat it.

Singapore rice noodle is tasty and well portioned; mala beef w/string bean and peking duck are greasy and dry. Peking duck is a signature Chinese dish. This dish has some of the PK duck ingredients but not even a good duck dish to recommend. The only menu with correct price is on their website.

We have been coming here every year for the last 15 years. Love the place. It's quiet, spacious, food is always great, and the service is very friendly. The lady server/manager remembers us and our kids since they were little. Like the family!

We all felt sick after eating there and the service was not great. Cute building but I don’t know why it has such high rating.

We were there yesterday and order 3 dishes. Singapore curry noodels were dry, no curry and had little curry flavors. Katsu chicken was quite dry. Server provided extra sauce on request, which was great. Scallion pancakes were decent though.

Sad atmosphere. Huge place but nobody in it but us. It was pretty dirty inside and smelled strongly of chlorine. Food was surprisingly good based on our expectations, but you are still better off going to another Chinese restaurant in the area, like Golden Wok.

The decor is very outdated and is reminiscent of an 80s steakhouse. Dark and feels somewhat dirty. Half of our party thought the food was good. I personally did not find it to be that great. The chicken fingers were good and fresh. Lo mein seemed over cooked and dry. Ordered a chicken dish which again was overcooked and chicken had an odd taste. We had been here years ago and it was much better. Quality seems to have gone down unfortunately.
