Shrewsbury House of Pizza

I was surprised by the food we received after reading these positive reviews. A friend said to order extra cheese on the pizza since they tend to skimp on it, so we did, and there was still not even a normal amount of cheese, nevermind the extra we paid for.

At $2.50 per add on topping, I shouldn't be searching for any pepperoni or onions, although there was an acceptable amount of mushrooms. I'm talking roughly one piece of pepperoni per slice. There was also an excessive amount of sauce. The ratio of ingredients was just all wrong. Maybe it was the pizza makers first day on the job or they overlooked the extra cheese, but since 2/3rds of the rest of the toppings were hard to find, it seems unlikely. I wouldn't even say this pizza is average or better than the one I can get at the grocery store down the street.

One of my friends got an Italian sub, which he said was edible, and the other had a steak Caesar which was okay, but didn't come with enough dressing. Overall, we were disappointed and won't be back.

Was disappointed in the calzone. It wasn't the traditional kind I expected. No ricotta and cheap with the cheese meat and peppers which I paid extra for. Never again

I liked the taste of this pizza. It has its own great ingredients making it feel it’s part of Italian heritage food. A lot of choices!

I ordered for the first time tonight, and it's the best pizza I've had in 30 years!! I highly recommend Shrewsbury House of Pizza, as busy as they were, my house special pizza was perfectly done, delivered promptly and absolutely delicious!
