Went there for dinner last night—we arrived at 6:15, fully aware they closed at 7, thinking that would give us plenty of time to enjoy a meal. As soon as we walked in, the woman at the door greeted us with a “Hello,” and we mentioned we were planning to sit down for dinner. She immediately responded, “Well, we close at 7,” which, as someone who works in the industry, felt like a clear sign that they weren’t interested in serving us. So, we decided to leave. I had been looking forward to trying this place and even drove in from New Bedford. Pretty disappointed.

This place is a hidden gem. Great food from their sandwiches (especially bifanas), soups (amazing seafood chowder), all the way to full on meals like their bacalao or Portuguese steak. People working there, including the owner Sandy, are always very sweet and personable. Limited room dining area and very limited parking so ordering takeout in lieu of dining in would be my recommendation! Either way you won’t be disappointed!

This is my absolute GO-To spot in Somerset for Portuguese food. The owner is such a wonderful person, and she's so dedicated to her craft. I have NEVER had a bad meal or experience. The restaurant is so neat, clean, professional, and friendly. I am so grateful for Piri Piri Kitchen. Thank you
I got the pork and little neck dish for a very picky older portuguese lady and she loved it. I also thought it was excellent. Fresh ingredients and the sauce was delicious!
