We loved this place! Absolutely stunning spot to work from or hang out. very unique coffee flavors. House made syrups. Confirmed no dairy in the banana bread syrup, which was absolutely delicious. They also had a clearly labeled a vegan churro doughnut. It was decent. It was gluten-free so it was a little dense, but I enjoyed it. I wish they had some more vegan options, but what we did have was delicious. Update: their oatmeals are also vegan and can be done with steamed oat milk. Unfortunately not house made, but it was delicious! There’s a variety of really unique flavors Updated from previous review on 2025-06-15

Went there for the first time yesterday. Had a crème brûlée latte and my husband had the Kentucky straight latte, and we split a vegan churro donut. Everything was so good and the staff was super friendly answering our questions. The atmosphere was really cool and relaxing too. The seating was comfy and everything felt so welcoming. Most places you go for coffee feel so cold and sterile with hard uncomfortable seating so I was excited to sit in a comfy swivel chair and drink my coffee. So glad we found this place and can’t wait to go back again and try even more of the menu.

Do not know why this is listed- no vegan options except plant milk for coffee. I will update if I see a change

Most of the flavors have dairy in them and they give you conflicting information. One location said the cinnamon bun latte is vegan and the other said it is not. Their chai lattes are also loaded with dairy which I was ordering with oat milk but no one said anything to me until I was asking about another drink. They have a vegan chocolate donut they get from Knead but that’s about it. They also charge extra for non dairy milks.

Hosted a private event with Society’s Somerset location and it did not disappoint! We were able to rent the whole shop for a cocktail party for a birthday. The esthetic and vibe of the shop is perfect for a cocktail style party. The GM Adam made the planning process very easy. He was enthusiastic about the event, from the decor to the playlist, even to the cocktail list (Taylor Swift TTPD themed party for reference). Our bartenders for the night, couldn’t have been better; Supervisor Liz and Nicole- they made us fabulous cocktails all evening. They were super friendly & all the guests had a great time thanks to them! They even helped with all the little details: packing and labeling left overs, cake cutting, and helping break down decor. Can’t forget Chef Joey with the amazing bites. Guests loved the nachos and quesadillas, also raved about the tacos. The flavor the chef adds to the food really elevated the basics and made you wanting to go back for more! These aren’t just the basic nachos, tacos or quesadillas! We ordered some cookies and brownies from the shop’s preferred bakery- which were just as delicious. Overall, I can’t thank the Society team enough for everything they gave to our event- you won’t be disappointed hosting here- and neither will your guests!

My wife wanted a nice coffee so we decided to go there on a Sunday afternoon just to be completely disappointed with the staff and the selection especially this one young lady felt like I was bothering her I didn't got her name but it was just very unprofessional.

First time visiting, and I can say it was way better than my general expectation. Girls were super sweet, A1 service. Some things are fairly pricey, but arguably it is on par with value. Every item has a twist that makes you want to try it all. The bacon egg and cheese is a phenomenal crunch, craft, and unique finish with the hot honey. The fresh cheese on the Asiago bagel is a standout. The flavor of the pistachio latte wasn’t heavy in favor of the espresso as much as I’d enjoy, but it also was not weak in typical fashion of local coffee and was still very good. The only let down was the malassada that was fresh-ish but served cold and not too sugary. They would be an entire notch above if they were fresh-to-order and warm. I honestly would get the same order again, if not come back to try everything else. Again, the prices make it a little out of budget as a regular staple, but I’d definitely come here for a treat day. Good local gem, hope to see them continue in growth.

Recently discovered this nice & swanky-like establishment! My wife loves their vanilla latte and I their vanilla chai latte—very fresh & very tasty! My only complaint is that their large cup size is everyone else’s medium cup. Come on Society give us the bigger cup!!! ? other than that, goodbye Dunkin’s and hello Society Coffee Bar!!!!!! ?
