I got off the highway and search of a place to eat.. after driving a quarter of a mile. I saw Zack's BBQ.. I had to stop because it's my son's name, the guy taking the order was great and personable suggested a few things but I went with the brisket quesadilla! It was filled with so much delicious brisket .. and cheese, and the tortilla was very thin. A perfect combination..the quesadilla was plenty for two meals !when the owner heard my sons name was ZACK. He gave me a banana pudding on the house. It was fantastic... my only suggestion would be to serve a barbecue sauce with the quesadilla instead of salsa, and I was already on my way so too late to ask..

Tried this place for the first time a couple of months ago and had the brisket sandwich. It was great. Tender, smoky, everything you want in a brisket. Went back recently to have the same sandwich again and it was dry and chalky and the bark was acrid and bitter. The first time, I picked the mac & cheese for my side and it was very good. Last time I picked the fries which were pale and undercooked and gritty. Oh well. Probably won't go back again.

My wife had zack's mac and cheese with brisket and I had chili.The mac and cheese looked as if they just poured a can of velveta over the freshly cooked pasta. The brisket was over done. But all in all it tasted good.The chili looked like the remnants of all the left over meats with some bbq sauce and a can of baked beans added in. Again it tasted good but not great.The coleslaw was amazing. As were the pickled onions. The pickle however was on of the single worst bites of food I have ever had. So tart I nearly spit it out.Your eating at a BBQ joint so ambiance isn't the thing. It was very clean though.The food was very reasonably priced.I'd stop by again if I was in the area but wouldn't go out of my way to get their Q.

We live over 2 hours away and I would drive here for the food. Everything was amazing. We talked to the owners and in their 2nd year knocking it out of the park.Tried every sauce and could not pick a favorite.

Deep fried pork belly is NOT 'Burnt Ends' and it came covered in a sweet sauce that they never asked if we wanted. We didn't. Not good. I order their Brisket on a previous visit which was good but they did the same thing with the sauce. Service was also very slow. For the cost and mediocre quality, I won't be back.

This is really good barbecue, not too smoky, tangy and slightly sweet. Chili was fantastic, very meaty. I'd suggest splitting, it's a lot.

Small restaurant with friendly staff. Chicken & waffles were delicious. Chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy inside.Mac & cheese, brisket and pulled pork were excellent. My husband requested a chicken sandwich that wasn’t on the menu. The owner happily obliged. He said it was the best chicken sandwich he’s ever had. We will definitely return and would highly recommend. Support small business!
