Always a high quality and consistent option for dinner, but this review is for their new brunch offering. Highly recommend! The food is as good as their dinners and absolutely delicious. The brioche French toast with fruit compote was amazing, as was the breakfast sandwich with greens and potatoes. Nice drink list, too. Reasonably priced for an elevated brunch experience.

I enjoyed warm and delicious food for the first time in a while♬ I think it would suit Japanese people in terms of taste and quantity.
Our waitress was excellent as was the food. It was great to see the restaurant was full or nearly so, but that meant it was a bit noisy. Overall an excellent experience.

The worst atmosphere, there is zero noise attenuate in place...you can't barely hear the person sitting next to you. That is to say, the acoustics are horrible. The service was miserable, more than an hour wait for our meals. The food was good but not worth the wait. There is no reason to visit this restaurant.

Last place I’ll ever consider going to. Stephanie the bar tender should be a little more friendly, or get a new job if she doesn’t enjoy what she does.
Amazing food and Service one of my favorite places to go!!

New to the area, I decided to make a reservation for my husband's birthday dinner there. The food was absolutely delicious! We can't wait to go back!

This might have been one of the rudest experiences of my life. My family and I walked into Food 101 around 845 last night, and were promptly told to leave when we looked for seats. The bartender, who was sitting at the bar mind you, informed us that they had had apparently closed at 8:30… Despite there being customers inside with fresh drinks and food, and the sign on the door, saying Open until 9 PM.When I looked online, the business hours showed that they were open until 10. So I called back just to make sure, and was informed by the same rude bartender, that they, “can’t change Google”.If you’re looking for a small dark bar with an ego, and terrible service… This is the place for you.

Food 101 is our "go to" for awesome meals; last weekend Al Anischik and his team went above and beyond for our family. We hosted an 80th birthday celebration on a Sunday night, when we had the restaurant to ourselves! Service, food, setting - all was perfect! I HIGHLY recommend Food 101 any time - and especially if you're looking for an amazing location for a private party! Thanks Food 101!

Made reservations for a special occasion. Never received an email confirming the date/time of the reservation. Ended up calling the restaurant the evening prior to confirm date/time. When they confirmed, they stated the party size and the time. Day of reservation, our full party arrived on-time. The hostess rudely stated that our reservations were for an hour after we arrived. We had confirmed the reservation date and time the night before. The hostess continued to rudely state that our reservations were for the later time and told us that ‘there’s nothing we can do for you.’ When we asked for a manager, the hostess rebutted with ‘the manager would just tell us the same thing’… that there’s nothing that they could do for us. We ended up sitting at the bar until they could take us. The bar tender was quick, she made us our drinks but wasn’t friendly. Once our table was ready, the hostess came over to use and again was rude and told us that our table was ready and wondered if we still wanted it. We were then seated at our table by our waitress. Our waitress wasn’t too friendly at first, but became somewhat more friendly as the evening went on. All in all, the food was excellent. The atmosphere was a little too dark and cold (as there’s a lot of windows and they were cold from the outside.) The service leaves a lot to be desired. When spending over $500 for 6 people to eat, the restaurant’s customer service should be better. It clear that Food 101 does not care about the customer’s experience.

Absolutely awesome. The salmon and lobster chowder was the best I have ever had. Entrees were also excellent. Highly recommended.

From the moment I contacted them, they were responsive and accommodating. They even offered to refrigerate my daughters bday cake before they opened for business that day! The quality of their food is exceptional, the wait staff was wonderful,we couldn’t of been happier.
