The Yarde Tavern South Hadley

Marco Carreira and his team recently catered a lunch buffet for an event that I hosted at my home. They came through for me on a very busy weekend on short notice. The food was still steaming hot when we picked it up, the amount of food included was more than generous, and everyone commented on how delicious everything was. Highly recommend!

We came for brunch at 10:20 am, door is locked. Nobody picked up the phone. On the website, brunch service is still available

I went there for his 70th birthday party and it was phenomenal. The food was great. The drinks were good. The cake was good. The atmosphere was good quaint little place. What more can I say?

My friend & I went in for dinner on 02/12 around 615 PM. We were waiting to be greeted, the hostess didn’t even look our way! She looked right past us, no acknowledgment. She didn’t even say hello or she’ll be right with us! She also scooted past me like she didn’t want me there. We were made to feel very uncomfortable and it was very telling with the climate of the world right now that we’re not welcomed there. Do better.

I visited on 02/12 with a friend. When we walked in there was a couple waiting to be seated. They said they were all set so we proceeded to the hostess stand. The hostess did not greet or acknowledge us. She picked up menus walked past us and apologized to the other couple for their wait.
A simple “Hi I’ll be right with you” would have been appreciated. While this may not be everyone’s experience we couldn’t help but notice that we may not fit the area’s usual demographic here in South Hadley. That’s something worth considering when deciding where to spend your money.
We walked out right after It was disheartening though given the current climate in this country, not entirely surprising.

I love going to the yard tavern I love the service!! The staff is so friendly and amazing

What a lovely little spot. The service, food, drinks, and vibe was fabulous. I had the salmon and he had the steak bites...only compliments from us. Coolest part, we received a gift of a signature glass. Definitely a place to check out!

Went early on a Sunday to avoid crowds, had reservation and were seated promptly. Very personable and efficient waiter. Food was great all around except the Pirogi Burger which was just a bit weird. Recommend the Steak Salad and the Chop Chop salad.

Marco and his entire staff, including our server Rachel, went truly over and above incredible service for our staff appreciation dinner. Marco was the first restaueant managee/chef that we spoke wirh who was ready, willinf, and able to help us plan a full buffet dinner after a big event. All other restaurants rhat we called were either not open on a Sunday or unwilling to take a reservation for 20+ people. Marco not only readily agreed, bit helped us plan an allergy friendly meal. We felt completely cared for.

Dietary restrictions: Easily helped with gluten free options and swapped out a salad for someone who was allergic to chickpeas!
