This restaurant is closed. It does not look like it is for the season either. Not sure when this restaurant was last open. Roof in disrepair. Grass overgrown are waist high.

Simple, casual atmosphere. Brusque service. Food not that good. Lobster roll very heavy on mayonnaise (makes me wonder if the lobster was fresh). Lobster bisque very creamy without any discernible pieces of lobster. Disappointed.

Bad experience in past but willing to give another try. Their website and signs in window stated they were open but showed up to find it closed with no explanation.

Horrible food. Ordered 4 whole belly clam plates . About 1/4 of the clams had bellies - the rest was bits & clam strips. The scallop plate was ok. Best part of meal was the tiny coleslaw that they probably buy pre- made.

Food was unedible.Shrimp was warm and mushy. Questioned the shrimp and owner said they never iced the shrimp. The food smelled bad.The Board of Health should shut this place down.

Ordered takeout tonight with a coupon I purchased off of Cape Cod Daily Deal - calamari appetizer, whole belly clam plate and fried scallop plate. The calamari was fine but a very small portion. Clams had small bellies like they get when they are not very fresh, and was also a small portion. The scallops however were terrible - they smelled like spoiled seafood when I opened the container. I tried one in case it was just the oil that they were fried in that smelled bad, but it was definitely a bad scallop. My husband tried one and his tasted bad as well. When I checked one out more closely, it was mushy and fell apart - a fresh scallop is always very firm. There were also only about 4 whole scallops in the box, the rest were all just small fried pieces of scallop, probably because they were all bad and falling apart. I immediately called Saltys to inform them I had gotten a bad dinner and I would stop in tomorrow to return the spoiled scallops. I was told "there is nothing I can do about it". I asked why, and was told that someone could order a takeout dinner and replace the good food with bad food, so restaurant policy was no refund or replacement on to go orders. What??!! I asked if he was accusing me of saving spoiled fried scallops, eating all their good scallops, and trying to get a refund on the bad scallops I replaced theirs with. Again, he said he was the manager, and there was nothing he could do. I asked if there would be a different manager if I stopped by the next morning, and he said the owner would be there and I could talk to him. Wish me luck, I'll see tomorrow if that is indeed the restaurant policy.

Stay away! Cute atmosphere. Food was gross- almost inedible and cold. Will never return. With so many places in the area, find another establishment!

We ordered the lobster/combo dinner our dinner was delicious! Prices were good compared to the other local restaurants! Cool, rustic shore town feel. Our favorite restaurant during our long weekend ?

Kimmy is an outstanding server! She and Jamison made sure our needs were met. Drinks, chowdahs, dinner and dessert. Yummy! We had the broiled scallops with bacon and Swiss cheese. Outdoor dining was perfect for our post covid vacation!

We got takeout, after buying a $40 certificate through Cape Cod Daily Deals. The food was ice cold, overcooked and most of it ended up in the garbage, as it was barely edible. To add insult to injury, we were overcharged by $25.! There are 2 different menus online, 1 with takeout prices and 1 for eat in. Our total should have been approx. $38, with tax, according to their takeout prices. When we arrived, we were charged $53. I gave the associate the certificate and she said she needed to re-ring and change the tax. She then charged us $13 + $10 gratuity, making the grand total $63, when you add the $40 certificate. We didn't get an itemized receipt, just a copy of the credit card statement for $13 and the counter person wrote in a $10 tip for herself. We left very confused,. I contacted the restaurant, left messages and emailed without any responses. It's now been 3 weeks. I was able to get a full refund and a phone call from Cape Cod Daily Deals. They sent requests to the business and also heard nothing. I reported this to our credit card company, who has also been unable to reach them. Based on the many, many horrible reviews on here, this restaurant should close their doors. Shame on them for STEALING from their Customers.
