Mac Daddy’s Diner is an old school, old fashioned diner with a traditional atmosphere, described as a true “Greasy Spoon” in the best sense. The interior features booths, model cars, license plates, and memorabilia. The new owners, a friendly husband and wife team, are truly nice and provide efficient service with personal banter, creating a welcoming environment.
The food is great and excellent, with very reasonable prices. Specific meals highlighted include a perfectly prepared breakfast of poached eggs, delicious bacon, and amazing home fries made as chunks of real potato cooked on a flat top. The homemade corned beef hash is very good, featured in the Irish eggs Benedict. The traditional eggs Benedict is also excellent. Coffee is bold, hot, and hits the mark. Portions are generous, with a lot of home fries served.
The atmosphere and people make it best, offering everything you want in a real diner. It is a clean place with a great rep, highly recommended for support as a new local business. Customers leave full and happy, planning to definitely return.
