Breakfast was great and plenty of it. We all took home the leftovers. Could only eat half.

Everything about Mauro’s is 10/10. Their tuna sandwich is my all time favorite!

Don't let the dark decor stop you from walking through the door. The cheerful, attentive, generous staff and top notch chef keep me coming back for more!

This is a small town, New England cafe at it's best. The food is great. I haven't had a bad meal yet. Whether I have breakfast, a light lunch or full mid-day meal that keeps me going well past dinner, I'm always pleased and satisfied.

But good as the food is, it's the spirit of the folks who work there that makes the place so comfortable and welcoming.

Parking: Maybe we don't come at peak times, but parking has never been a problem for us.

The breakfast was PHENOMENAL!!! Extremely incredible sized portions. My husband usually orders about the same breakfast every where we go and cleans off his plate. NOT HERE!!! He was STUFFED!! We basically had another day’s worth of breakfast ?

I was there on Sunday at 11:40. Sat outside with my husband, the waiter stopped by after 10 minutes and gave us the menu, brought our drinks and then disappeared. We waited for 25 minutes and no one stopped by. Even the other waitress that was serving the table near us didn’t stop by and ask if we were being helped. We left the money for the drinks on the table and went to another place. I can’t talk about the food but the service was horrible. I understand that is a cafe/diner but it was just frustrating. Awful experience.

For a small local diner, this place is great. Great food with large portions and service is fast. Parking a bit difficult to find along the street but it’s free.

Good local place for breakfast or lunch. Good location,; not many tables but countertop service is available. Interesting menu. Corn beef hash is homemade, and that is always a good sign. Wait staff friendly & attentive

This restaurant was disappointing in every way (to say the least). The owner was annoyed when we asked why it was taking so long to bring our lunch. When our meal finally came it was basically inedible. Needless to say we will not be back!

Great little local diner. Very friendly service but don't be in a hurry. We were a party of 4 and waited almost a half hour for eggs and it wasn't too crowded.

Mauro's is the quintessential northeast small town cafe a short drive from Boston and a wonderful place to eat breakfast. Observing the local townsfolk share a meal and socialize was nostalgic - what an awesome atmosphere! The breakfast menu was impressive and included healthy options such as super food fruit bowls. The Maine Lobster Omelet was delicious.
