Driving on route 9, we stopped for coffee for the long ride and decided to find a quick take out for lunch. Food was prepared quickly and we got a notification it was ready. We ordered some sushi rolls and stir fried udon. Both were delicious entrees and we were pleasantly surprised. Sushi was fresh and avocados were ripe and soft.

Ok food but watch out for prices. Nigiri is $8.50 for two small pieces. Our fault not to notice but still. Pricing seems more realistic at Crazy Stone nearby.

-The beef and basil had negligible basil and two 1-2 whole onions -there wasn't anything green in the salad. - The duck rules, which are usually reliable, were a little sketchy. This may be our last trip to YamaFuji. Too bad!

Food was not very good, shrimp was overcooked and rubbery. Broccoli was undercooked, steak was chewy. Only good thing we had was shrimp tempura roll.

Great sushi place!! I gave it 4 stars as whenever I have 3-4 sushi variety they try to jam pack everything in one box and it ends up turning sushis into mush and hard to pick and eat. Hope they recongize and fix this situation orher than that best sushi in this area.

There are several of these in New England, and we were told they are independently owned. That makes sense as our experience in this venue was much better than our experience in Rhode Island. We were the first customers here as they just opened for lunch, and our service was excellent. We don't know if that's typical, but our waitress was very attentive and helpful. It was a cold day, so we passed on the sushi and selected: + Chicken Udon $15 + Chicken Fried Rice $15 + Gyoza $8 These were all excellent. The Gyoza was lightly fried, hot and tasty. We would be delighted to sample these again. The Chicken Udon included thick, chewy noodles, tender chicken, and a smattering of veggies, in a mild and tasty broth. It was a huge portion, and delicious. The Chicken Fried Rice was lightly fried with a delicious flavor, and tender chicken. This was also a large portion resulting in takeaways for both the Udon and Fried Rice. This visit warranted a 4.5 star rating, rounded up to 5 as everything arrived nicely executed and piping hot!

Excellent food, good service, reasonable price. We shared the beef teriyaki (nice!), sesame chicken (yummy!), and chicken and broccoli (delicate flavor!) with rice and salads. It was a lot of food! At 7:30 pm it was not crowded. Fast service.

Not bad, bought the steamed shrimp shumai and rainbow roll. The roll seemed a little dry but with soy sauce & ginger was fine. Wasn’t anything special. Shumai was amazing though, will def order that again. One con: ordering online doesn’t give you the option to pay online and still need to pay upon pickup.

Only disappointed that ramen isn't an option anymore post Covid. Wish they would bring it back even if it is just seasonally when the weather turns cold. That said, I love the creative sushi roll offerings. My friend ordered General Gao's chicken and it was a huge portion. I like to support local businesses that support their communities and Yama Fuji supports Rotary and other local community events.
