Updated review: I decided to try it again since the updated renovations. Very pleased I did, and I'll be coming back regularly. Price is very reasonable, food quality is good and tasty! I tend to order takeout!
I’ve never had any issues with their delivery when I do get takeout, however this time I ordered a small pizza at 7:45pm (I made sure it wasn’t too late for delivery which said it ends at 9:00pm). I got a notification it would be delivered around 8:40-9:00pm. I was okay with that but then got a notification at 9:00pm that my order had been canceled and refunded. I then got a second notification that doordash would be delivering it at 9:37pm and I had to give my payment again....
Central Pizza has been my favorite restaurant in Southbridge for over 30 years. I have always enjoyed their best ever hamburger pizza. Their bar is brand new, and they have successfully transformed their business from a pizza place to a true bar pub. Even their hamburgers themselves are the best in the area. Furthermore, the owner KK and his entire staff have an intangible chemistry that makes the atmosphere in this restaurant feel like a home away from home. So many great specials...
