Stopped here the other day. The prices may seem a bit high, but the sandwiches are huge! I could only eat half of it, and saved the other for the next day. I had the pork sandwich and it tasted amazing. The desserts are also very good. I will be stopping here more often in the future. Highly recommended!!

So far we have had 2 of the sandwiches and let me tell you the Papi tuna is delicious, we had that and the grilled chicken, they were both delicious and big enough to feed the family and more probably!! We will be back! I wanted to add to this here after trying more of the plates and desserts, OMG guys. What are you waiting for, if your ever in the area while they are open its a must!! Finally got the chance to try out Taino Roots and can’t say enough good things about it! Very friendly and hard-working people. Couldn’t decide whether to get a Boriken Bowl or a Tripleta so I asked for a suggestion and the nice guy, who I believe was the owner, suggested the Tripleta saying it was a staple of their menu and that he has not seen anyone finish it yet. WOW was he right! I’m going to get at least 2 meals out of this delicious sandwich. Will be back as soon as possible for more!
