The atmosphere was clean and the service was decent. However, when it comes to portion size, this place fell short. Most Spanish restaurants I order from are generous with their servings, but the first sandwich — plantains and pork — had barely enough filling for a toddler. The pastrami sandwich wasn’t much better, with a noticeably small portion. Disappointing for the price.- Don’t waste your time or money!

I'm from Hartford CT. Moved out here to Springfield not too long ago and was looking for a spot that reminded me of spots back in Hartford. Saw this place and thought I'd give it a try. Seemed like all the ladies behind the counter had an attitude, I waited about 35 mins for 2 sandwiches... And the sandwiches weren't even mid at best or worth the high price. There was barely any pernil in them. Usually Id only eat a half of a half of the sandwich with how much meat they have ( spots in Hartford ) but the sandwich i got from here I literally inhaled both halves in one bite and was still hungry so ended up going to the McDonald's around the corner.... I had high expectations walking in and went home completely disappointed

I absolutely love this place! I work across the street so I get the luxury of have a variety of delicious food throughout my workday. Eating their food has given that nostalgic mamas food feeling. The workers are so nice and already remember me by name. It’s a friendly and considerate environment. No one judges me and my big back 😁 My favorite is the sancocho that I had the opportunity to try, because I am Muslim it is hard to find a pork free Sancocho. It is absolutely scrumptious. Don’t get me started on the Chicharrón de pollo with tostones! It is a must try, from breakfast to early dinner. Absolutely delicious 🤤 10 stars if I could 💫

I enjoyed every ounce of this new restaurant! My go to for breakfast is their Avena. It has the perfect amount of sweetness and consistency, they even ask if you would like to add cinnamon which is a plus. They offer two sizes at an extremely affordable price.
Another dish I’ve tried that is my favorite is the chicharron de pollo with tostones. Amazing! The chicken pieces are crunchy yet so juicy. The tostones are fried to perfection. The best part is that everything is made FRESH. Especially the frituras!
Definitely a must have spot right here in Springfield! It’s convenient, food is made fresh, and they are quick with orders. Must try, 10/10!
