The food is not the same not just here but everywhere. The fish o.m.g thalapia. The chicken forget about it! As soon as it hit the warming pan people hoard it and the price is fair for all you can eat.

How can anyone enjoy eating here? The stench of “sewer” is overwhelming and quite disgusting! The food is mediocre at best. How does this place stay open? The Board of Health doesn’t notice the obnoxious sewer odor??

Senior discount only 50 cent🤬
We went to Golden Corral on Sunday after church. It was about $20 per person, which would be reasonable if the quality matched, but it didn’t.
Right away, we were charged for two sodas that we never ordered or received. After speaking with the manager, they removed the charge immediately, which I appreciate, but it shouldn’t have happened in the first place.
The bigger issue was the food and cleanliness. There were plenty of options, but most of it looked low quality and poorly maintained. The orange chicken was something we took ourselves and cut open, and the inside was gray and didn’t taste right. The salad lettuce looked old and low quality. The dishes in the serving area were wet, and one had a visible raspberry stain on it, which raises concerns about how well things are being cleaned.
My wife got rice that had shrimp tails mixed into it, like someone had already eaten shrimp and discarded the tails into the tray. The pizza was rubbery and tasted like cheap frozen pizza that had been reheated. The garlic breadsticks were probably the only thing that was somewhat decent.
We ended up eating about half of what we took before deciding to leave. My wife’s stomach started hurting during the meal, which made the situation worse.
Overall, the experience felt unsanitary and poorly managed. Even for a buffet, the food quality and cleanliness were below what should be acceptable. For Springfield, this might be considered average, but based on normal health and quality standards, this was poor.
The only positive was the dessert section. The dessert options were actually very good and felt like the most dependable part of the meal. The cotton candy cake especially stood out.

Other than driving an hour and half to get here, it was good. We got there maybe a half hour before they switched from breakfast to lunch and both were decent. The deserts are delicious. Those years rolls are amazing. And the cinnamon rolls?? Oh my goodness.

Wish they still has the real ice cream. I don't like the sickly sweet soft serve ice cream. And they got rid of the chocolate fountain with strawberries and pineapple and marsh mellow and got rid of the cotton candy. The only desserts I could eat.

Food is always good, clean environment management and service is well. I will say the last time I was there I noticed the steak takes very strange like it is not real meat or something is going on with that. Also the rolls were very hard. May have just been an off day since I go there at least 1 time a month but over all it was still good

Asked the manager if could get an exchange on the tiny lobster tail they give you because the taste was horrible. Spent $116 ,didn't even bother to exchange it or see it was at the table and not edible just kept saying I know I know non refundable. No etiquette, professional nor customer service what so ever.
The waiter was good, most veggies were just heated canned veggies. They charged us for 3 lunches when there was only 2 of us. Pretty sure they do this often to people so check your receipts!!!! Luckily I noticed and got my money back. 2 days later I had several fraudulent charges on my card and I don't think its a coincidence. The bathroom smells like sewage has backed up in there. Pretty gross for being a place where people eat. I'd avoid this place
