I come here weekly to enjoy the comedy open mic on Wednesdays and the music after (live DJ). Can't beat a free show. Menu is diverse, food is delicious. I love the salmon egg rolls and blt sliders. Lots of options at the bar, but I always go for the Shirley Temple. Bartenders are great. Security is attentive. Plenty of space inside, and a great patio area with canopies and tables with umbrellas.
My first time in. The bartender was very nice. Security was very nice. Drinks were ok. Outside was very nice. Bathroom was prison style. Lol. But it was clean! Not a lot of foliage out back, so less mosquitoes. I will come back again.
This is not a typical northeast city Irish Bar and yet it is. Not a place for black and tans and The Clancy Brothers. But it is a community oasis. A couple blocks from city FD and PD HQ’s, it lies off the beaten path of Main and Columbus and State and lower Worthington streets. This is a city dive bar in the most cherished and honorable sense of the term. It is a people’s place. It is a snapshot of the proletariat who live and work in the city.
