I ordered the fish dinner with greens and baked mac and I wasn't pleased. The greens were mustard greens and needed more flavor. The mac and cheese was mushy and over cooked no seasoning. And I didn't ask for rice and gravy.it could have been put on the side in a different container not under my fish. Now the fish was good very flavorful.

Ordered the pork chops as long as I remember “s” is plural that means two that’s what I expected not one chop that was so thin you could almost see through it black eye peas so salty can’t be eaten. Shame on you for for misleading people $20.00 is no small amount to spend on something to be thrown out because you can’t eat it

I just love Jamie and Jermaine I've been following them around for years since I found them in that food truck just off Main Street in Springfield Back in 2019 or 20 and they've been steadily growing every since, They said we're going brick and mortar and they did. They're all about tenacity and traditional Southern style cuisine, Especially not having any Southern roots, It's impressive. Springfield has a little gem.

Fired fish was amazing. The fried chicken was a hit to salty would’ve expected that out of the fish. The Mac and cheese wasn’t hitting like I was hoping and the rice was just bottom of the barrel plain mushy and had little flavor.

The chicken sandwich will ruin you LOL. You wont want one from anywhere else! The dinners and the sides are all on point. We use them religiously to cater too.

A-mazing My company catered the food from Jamie’s Soul food and I’m so glad they put me on! I’ve only had soul food once or twice in my life but after I had the delicious mac and cheese and jerked chicken I knew I was going to be ordering from there myself again and again. I could go to Hartford for soul-food which is closer but my colleagues agreed that making the trip to Jamie’s soul-food is worth the trip!

I’m so late but I’ve been hearing nothing but great things about the food, I tried their fried chicken sandwich and I was blown away at the flavor! Not only was EVERY BITE full of flavor but the chicken breast itself was massive & juicy and cook must I add cooked to perfection‼️ 10/10 will recommend to EVERYONE! Can’t wait to return and try something different‼️❤️

This is my first ever review but I need to write it. I’ve had the jerk chicken meal here 3 or 4 times and it’s always amazing. Great portion sizes. I had it yesterday for lunch and had the leftovers today. The worst thing about eating it was being done. After my last bite I almost cried because it was over. Never had a meal make me feel this way. If I could marry this jerk chicken I would.
