Kababji Mediterranean Grill

If you’re looking for authentic Mediterranean/middle eastern food, this place is the real deal. The fact that it’s in the same building as a gas station only adds to its credentials. I got the lamb shawarma plate with the red rice and everything was delicious. The seasoning was spot on and the food was definitely of a high quality and cooked properly. The owner/chef was a very nice Iraqi gentleman that was happy to serve me and talk about the food. I am of middle eastern descent and travel a lot for work so I seek out this food, and I must say this was one of the best places yet! I will definitely be returning when I’m in the area again.

The food was OK not enough meat there was 80% more rice than lamb and there was no sauce for the lamb over yellow rice.i just felt like I paid $15 for a plate of rice but they were very polite and respectful and the area was ok.

The food here is mouth watering I could eat it everyday!! Service is fast and friendly ! I introduced my younger sisters to it an they also fell in love just as I did they come into town sometimes an grab food from here also. You won't be disappointed it can be pricey depending on what you get but it's worth it !! Definitely try them I love the owner he is very nice an I love his Authentic Food From His Country ❤️💥

We've only been here once, on the way to Hartford Bradley Airport. There is no seating, we got takeout and ate it at the airport. The food was very good. Sorry I can't say exactly what the food was because my spouse ordered and she said she told the guy to give us whatever was freshest and best at that time. I had a wrap, as shown in photos. I think it was lamb. I say it was very good because it tasted good, gave me no gas, and no other intestinal problems later on if you know what I mean. That's my criteria for food while traveling. We'd go here again if we were in the area. No sign of the guy smoking like the bad review documented.

Parking: Co-located with a Sunoco gas station. Parking no problem. Close to I-90 Mass Turnpike and I-291 south to Hartford Bradley airport.

ordered beef kabab- cheap cut of steak cooked on a flat top grill. not charcoal. far from authentic.
pita was wet by upon arrival, should be packed seperately.
