Everyone threw up that ate the food. Awful

I had order placed an order over the phone for a medium size fried chicken meal. When I came home to eat I didn’t receive any rice my yams weren’t cooked and my mac n cheese wasn’t baked

I came here for the first time today with my sisters (not my sisters first time) and husband and man when I say so good I mean it. It’s hard to really find a good soul food spot that hits home. But I’m so glad my sister introduced me to this place because everything was a 10/10. I had the fried chicken, yams, collards, mac and it was definitely worth us traveling an hour! I don’t know why this is showing a 4.1 rating it should be 5 star spot. If you’re looking for a good soul spot and probably was hesitant to try…DON’T BE HESITANT TRY IT LOL. Also I don’t know the name of the man we were speaking to today but thankful you for making us feel welcomed!!

The food was AMAZING. So worth the price, the atmosphere and restaurant itself was so beautiful inside. I love their tables (natural wood) the chef was a sweetheart, she is an amazing chef. It was absolutely orgasmic to my mouth. My friend and I will DEFINITELY BE BACK. LOVE THIS PLACE.

Was on the area on business travel. Food was good and I would visit again when near by. I had the whiting fish and like the spin they put on the black eye peas. Did not see alot of parking but I beat the rush and had no problem finding a spot.

So far, so good. Food has been excellent every visit. The meatloaf is well seasoned and filling. The sides were excellent too..well seasoned collards, perfect yams and Mac and cheese. I also had whiting on my latest visit but had pork chops awhile ago, which was also VERY good and the portions are generous! Medium sized meals are PLENTY!!! Yup...I'm sold.

Let me share my experience; this is what I call a hidden gem. The presentation of the location is clean and cute. We had a great waiter; he was very patient and explained the menu. He could not have been more accurate in his explanation of the food and its taste. This was my first time here, and I'll be coming back. I had a breaded pork chop and a smothered one as well, and this was the most delicious food I've had in a long time. he even gave us some corn bread to try. It was amazing.
