Picked up our order on 7/27/25 to which we discovered when we got home one of the orders had the wrong protein. I immediately called back and asked them to correct it. Drove all the way back across town only to be told they HAD JUST sold out of what I originally ordered. Why wouldn't they put my order in immediately after getting off the phone with me? They offered me other options to which I declined the finally offered me a refund...NOPE! I wanted what I ordered. The young lady at the register was completely detached and could care less. I took the wrong order gave it to my neighbor and went and spent more $ elsewhere. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. WILL NOT BE GOING BACK!

First time today my daughter ordered food for us from here and I must say the food was amazing. The wings, Mac&cheese, and rice with gravy were phenomenal. I would definitely order from here again.

I ordered a pork chop sandwich and what I thought was a simple sandwich was a whole meal. My friend got a fish dinner that they was was great she just wished the macaron was a little more southern style or thick.

With all due respect, who’s cooking? Please fire them. I’m so upset I went there so hungry and looked forward to eating. I KNOW GOOD FOOD!
The Mac and cheese looked like someone chewed it and spit it back out, tasted very grainy! Just not good. The rice was undercooked! The chicken was OVERCOOKED way too dry!! I like my meat well done but WOW that was wayyy too much. Reminded me of a Popeyes biscuit. (Respectfully). The yams were also grainy and just NOT it! Please get some new cooks. I took a bite of everything before asking for a refund and just disappointed! Ain’t no way. Please get new cooks. Also, food is WAY to overpriced ain’t no way I paid $30 for that. Was not worth it.

The catfish was the perfect combination of sweet, salty, Flaky and crunchy. The rice was perfectly executed. But for the love of God those collard greens were the absolute perfect star of the show. There is the perfect hint of spice dancing on the back of your tongue. The perfect little kiss of acid hidden in there so perfectly. And the smokiness of the smoked turkey leg. Absolutely a must try place. I am so looking forward to coming back to try the rest of the menu. Thank you very much to the staff that works there for making everything with a whole lot of love.

Customer service was a zero!! I look at the menu and ordered my food. The guy rings up my order and the total was a bit more than I calculated. I mention it to the guy and all he says is we haven't updated the menu and then says you don't have to order ! I was a bit taken back with his rude response! What a nice way to keep a new customer! So much for supporting a local business.I'm all set ! A simple we can just modify the price and honor it and my apologies goes a long way ... also took almost 30 minutes to get our food so call ahead
