Ok. So I found a review that pretty much sums up our experience tonight…however…She will never go back. WE will absolutely be back!!
Here it is:
We ate here tonight after seeing the reviews. We walked in an it was an absolute ghost town for dinner on a Friday night! We weren’t sure if they were actually open. Questioned if we entered through the wrong door or maybe, just maybe, this was actually it. My sister in law went to pull her phone out to look at the pics online to compare and solve the mystery. We weren’t greeted when we walked in but then someone wandered out of the back and seemed confused as to why we were there. (This is were our reviews start to differ). We were direct where to sit and our servers brought back waters. Cleanest glasses I’ve ever seen (honestly). We let him know it was our first visit so we may need some time to look over the menu. We were given lots of time. We got to order. Our server was very nice. Soft spoken. Super polite! Our food took a little while to come out. But let me tell you—-IT WAS WORTH EVERY MINUTE! We thought he had forgotten that we ordered the naan. Oh, he did not forget..it was being made. When it came out if was fresh, hot, slight crisp and absolutely DELICIOUS! We couldn’t believe how incredible the food was. Like…we wanted to see the kitchen and WHO was cooking. Sooo good. My husband wanted to lick the bowls. It was soooo good. Words are escaping me to tell you how enjoyable our dinner was to eat. So good that we forgot to order dessert!!! We realized half way home and totally regret it. I have a feeling since it’s a Friday night they may have moved furniture around for the busy lounge crowd that would be coming later in the night. We were probably dining in that awkward transition time. Well…we have a funny story that ends with a new go to spot for a DELICIOUS meal.

Myself and a friend of mines stopped into this establishment for a cocktail on a Thursday evening. This was my first time and needless to say it will be my last time. I have never had such horrible service from an establishment. I ordered a drink that was clearly on their menu and I was told that they did not have the ingredients to make it. I then asked for a specific kind of wine from another bartender and was told they didn’t carry it. Lastly I asked for another cocktail and was told that they didn’t know how to make it. The bartenders were serving everyone else at the bar with the exception of myself even people who sat at the bar after I had arrived( I literally was being ignored). The bartenders clearly didn’t know what they were doing and looked very confused and were consulting with one another when it came to making drinks. I spoke to management and complained to the owner and co owner.the manager said he would take care of me and still had me waiting for a significant amount of time before having another employee come up to me to see if there was anything that she could do for me. At that point I was just utterly disgusted and declined her offer. The atmosphere I felt was very scetchy and I would NEVER go back there or recommend anyone I know to go there😡.

The food was good! We had a brand new server and despite being the only people in the entire establishment, we had to ask for plates, napkins, water refills, and utensils. I hope they train their servers better going forward.

L’amour is hands down one of the best restaurants in Springfield! I walked in with no expectations and walked out absolutely blown away especially by their Goat Biryani, chicken pakoda,Samosa🤤 . It was sooooooo goooddddd! Tender, flavorful, and perfectly spiced it’s easily one of the best I’ve ever had. 😍
The place itself is a vibrant restobar with a cozy ambiance, making it perfect for both a relaxed meal and a fun evening out. L’amour definitely took me by surprise, and in the best way possible. Can’t wait to go back and try more from their menu!

Food is authentic and tastes fresh with a good balance of spices that doesn’t overwhelm you but is definitely bursting with flavor. the entire staff is super polite and kind, easy people to talk to who connect with you as a human. The chef even came out and asked us how the food was, which was a surprise but a pleasant one. The atmosphere is cozy with music softly playing in the background, loud enough to hear but not too loud to the point you can speak softly or at a normal tone with your company. It’s very clean and well air conditioned, not to mention extremely well ventilated. Would definitely recommend this place to others and 100% coming to eat here again when in the area or at any given chance, it’s THAT good

We stopped in late night after a concert at Mass Mutual. Lively atmosphere and excellent food with plenty of vegan options.

Presentation was sloppy for a dessert. Ordered Tikka Masalas and no rice was in the order. Felt robbed altogether. Food wasn’t cheap.

I dont usually leave reviews, but this place absolutely deserved it. I came here once before abd knew that I HAD to come back-and once again, everything was beyond delicious.

We had the Chicken Vindaloo and Tandoor Salmon this time, both packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The bastami rice alone is worth coming for- so fragrant and fluffy, it perfectly compliments every bite. Honestly, everything I've tried has been fantastic.

The staff are warm and welcoming and genuinely care about your experience. Don't be deceived if this place looks quiet-its a hidden gem! If you're even remotely considering trying it, do yourself a favor and GO. You won't regret it! Amazing.
