Just picked up anisette cookies that are HUGE and fruit bread. Can't wait for my butter to thaw so I can toast a couple of pieces! Looks delicious!!! Amazing staff...so friendly!

Italian Bread Shop isn't just about bread (and the bread is outstanding). It's also about so much more baked yumminess. I tried one of Jenny's stuffed breads recently. The ingredients were sausage, spinach, garlic, mozzarella and olive oil. Deeeeelicious! Sausage and spinach is one of my favorite combinations, and this was fantastic. And the bread was indeed *stuffed* with all that goodness. I'll be trying her other stuffed breads for sure. While I was waiting for the stuffed

Nondescript place at the heart of Springfield but serves very good bread at a very affordable price. I tried their mile long French bread which was super soft and crusty when toasted. Their cornbread was made in an old fashioned way sans artificial ingredients/ food additives and was not too sweet . Will definitely try all their breads next time like the enormous Vienna bread ; star bread/ panettone etc.

The star bread wreath that we got for the holidays was delicious. The bread shop has been around for years and plays a big role in the community. Here's hoping for many more years of delicious baked goods, and star bread of course.
