Liberty’s Mediterranean Giant Grinders

I came here to eat without super high expectations. I have eaten at many middle eastern restaurants and most are really good. Libertys was different as it was not good it was outstanding. You can tell attention to detail and love was put into everything they do. I ordered a chicken shawarma and it so flavorful and juicy. The amount of flavor and freshness was like nothing I ever had. I typically don’t eat that much but I also could not resist a good sub. I live in California where good subs are hard to come by. I ordered the half combo and once again i couldn’t get over how fresh and tasteful it. This was two weeks ago and I’m still thinking about it. The meat was fresh, as was all the veggies and of course the bread was soft and fresh as well . If you are within an hours drive of Libertys in Springfield MA I would highly recommend it. Excellent food and service. Please open one in Southern California.

Had 8” Philly Steak & Cheese with fries. Sandwich was hearty & generous portion of fries. Ate half of sandwich & fries there and took half to go. Wait was short…food was hot…service was friendly. Would strongly recommend.

that steak sup smacked, definitely one of the best foods around.

Liberty Mediterranean is a gem!

I ordered the boom boom chicken grinder and it was delicious! The flavors were fresh, bold, and satisfying. What really stood out, though, were the owners. They were incredibly friendly and kind, which made the whole experience even better. You can tell they care about their food and their customers. I’ll definitely be going back! Highly recommend!

Phenomenal falafel Gyro. Homemade and cooked fresh to order. Well worth a walk from the bus station.

Delicious Gluten Free options with Halal hand slaughtered beef and chicken shawarma. Always ready to modify their menu to meet my dietary needs. They understand food allergies and replace with alternative ingredients. Thank you so much

Great spot to have some great food. The atmosphere and staff are amazing and very outgoing. Fully recommend stopping by you wont regret.

Had decent expectations based on reviews. Ordered 2 Lamb gyro meals. Was not impressed at all. Especially for the price. $19.99 each meal. Go to Mykonos down the street for a real gyro. I do not recommend.

Popped in during a break on my Greyhound transit. Lady behind the counter was so welcoming. Lamb gyro I ordered was one of the biggest and freshest (meat-wise) I've ever eaten. Guy in front of me on the bus hadn't budged for food in 30 minutes but set off for the shop with only 12 minutes to spare, he was so taken by the look of the sandwich. I hadn't eaten all day and was totally rescued from despair with that gyro. Art of all mediums inside, very cozy and earnest feeling. Wish I lived closer to Springfield so I could frequent.

Oh yes and they have complimentary coffee and tea set out... I was feeling a bit under the weather and the mint tea was exactly what I needed. I don't what what it is about a free beverage, but it feels like the kindest gesture to as a traveler.

Very nice atmosphere with so many amazing food options! I ordered the chicken maqluba and it was 10/10. Will definitely need to come back to try other things on the menu. Highly recommend!

Delicious gyro. Very well made. They were very attentive to detail. Called me to let me know they didn’t have their normal pita wrap and asked if I’d be okay with an alternative pita.

The Mediterranean lentil soup was the best soup I have EVER had. They have tons of vegan, vegetarian, dairy free, and gluten free options marked on the menu. The tabbouleh is gluten free (made with quinoa)! The food was delightful, the family was warm and welcoming, and the artwork - and the artist - are lovely.
